I had this done a few months back and I'm absolutely pain free. The procedure is really quick, I'm out of the clinic in just a couple of minutes. Highly recommend Dr. Lam and his team.
I recently had a Dr. suggest this type of surgery for my neuroma (one in each foot!) and I am wondering what the recovery time is like? Also... would both feet be done at once or just one at a time typically?
@tashabunny13 Both can be done at once. Recovery, is different for patients most feel immediate relief. SOme will require two treatments about 6-8 weeks apart. Good Luck!
I have a question is it possible to have morton's neuroma without any pain? cause I'm convince that I have morton's neuroma in both my feet because both third toes on my right and left foot have like this huge gap in between em minus the foot pain, but I always thought that it was some type of disorder or something that I was born with.
I had a neuroma on my right foot which flared up on and off for more than 10 years. Last year, the pain got really bad. Sometimes I had to sit, remove my shoe and rest for a while. I'm glad I had the cryosurgery instead of the traditional surgery. I've heard many bad experiences about the traditional surgery, often developing stump neuromas.
Since this email I have had 3 cortisone shots which did not do anything. I have since seen an Orthopedic surgeon that believes it is my joint under my second toe.
I can't afford surgery right now do you have any suggestions as to what I can do to alleviate this?
Neuroma's don't shift, it can be possible that you can have two neuromas or just a swollend joint from injury, I would check with your podiatrist about such.
The cryosurgery works good for Stump neuromas or regrowth neuromas. We use this modality in addition to low energy shockwave therapy (session of 5) to help with this difficult situation. Please do call for consultation in office 430 3668

I have a neuroma under my 2nd toe I have had this for over a year. I think it shifted from my 2nd &3rd toes. The top of my foot is hurting now.
I think I injured from high impact exercise.

@baristaman42 Before any surgery, try to clear the problem with the (magnetic resonance) it is of course, the answer for every foot problem.

How long will it last for?
I already had a neuroma removed and my feet still hurt.
