Another system additive, Am i crazy or should there be anything in a refrigeration circuit but oil and refrigerant. Half of this stuff voids the manufacturares warrenty not that it matters if the system is old. Seems a little snake skin to me. I have used the superseal and it worked once out of the five times i tried to use it. I dont like having to tell the customer well maybe this will fix it and then it doesnt. Now i find the leak with my fieldpiece slr2 infrared detector.

@topdoozie1 Amen on the IR detector. Works great at service valve leaks (loose caps) that do not present with oil. Bubble soap doesn't catch every leak but the IR does.

@V8Jagnut I had been having some moisture problems with this unit. I'll check for acid when I replace the filter drier next month.

How long should you wait to make sure that the system dry has done it's work before adding super seal?

@tstatech I plan to replace the filter drier in about a month. Hopefully, it caught any contaminants in the system.
