How to mod a ps2 (disk detectors)

mine is diff i dont have the 3rd sensor at the back of ps2 slim

my first question is can you play burned ps2 games without swap magic

my second question is if you can play burned ps2 games without swap magic does it matter if the burned game is a cd-r and the real game is dvd rom or sumfin like that because all of my burned games are cd-r's

and my third question is i used dvd region x to play burned games on my fat ps2 will this work on the slim

you require swap magic to play burned games yes, but if you already have a copy a game, simply insert that game in and wait for the red light (the disc scanner) to come down a second time, remove the disc and replace with burned game. I do not know how this would work with other burned games such as replacing guitar hero 2 ND(normal disc) with a GTA: San Andreas BD (Burned disc).

I have only ever swapped (not magic swap) with burned Guitar hero 2 discs

No u dont. You wait until the second up down motion take out disc and replace it within 15 seconds and it loads
