Wonderful! He's so tolerant, & the kitty so sweet! Our 13 year old German Shepherd here in Cornwall, UK, is similar. They are really big softies at heart, if they're decently treated. I always loved dogs. In Tanzania, where I was brought up on a gold-mine, I had a very good friend - a Heinz-57 mongrel, called "Baby" (?! :-)) There's footage of him in a dinghy on the mine pool. He just wouldn't get off when I paddled to the side.
