What an awesome car. I love it. Does it have the crank sunroof and blue velvet seats? I'm sure it has the VDO gauges in the center console. This was the true predecessor to the 83 GTI.

Great car! Hope fix him up and keep it stock. I also hope you don't trade this car for 'cash for clunkers'. That would be a shame.
