hey do you have your iphone on a dock?????if so is it a video dock???? or how are you outputing the video? also are you able to charge your phone as it is outputing the video?
@hectik5010: Yes it is on a universal dock which supports video output as long as you get the composite video cable from Apple. That cable connects to the back of the dock and has the charging, and the RCA, yellow, red, and white for audio and video that you just connect to the RCA input of your headunit....
The only thing I have on is the "Enable TV Out" option with a genuine Apple video cable. It works with no problems. You might reinstall "Landscape TV out" also I jailbroke with Blackra1n and used Rock to install the app, but I don't think that will matter.
what cable did you buy (model/manufactor)? Apple says the AV cable does not work on the 3gs. Ebay has some that say they will work with 3gs. Just wondering which one would work.
what cable are you using? I got a similar set up except my head unit is a Pioneer AVH-3100DVD. Also is your JVC touchscreen and do any of the apps work off the unit itself.
im guessing slingplayer is like screen splitter but better right? i wanna use my navigon app on my display but i heard its laggy ...i dont think it can be that laggy because its just navigation tryna get the full intergration thing with charging sound music and video any ideas
Slingplayer is the device that Broadcasts the video signal from the slingbox. I used Landscape TvOut to output the video from the iPhone. It doesn't lag because the iPhone screen is disabled as you can see in the vid, so you can use the resources for TV out only and get high FPS.
and it still works? I've been reading around the web that Slingplayer doesn't work on the newest Blackra1n with OS 3.1.2. Anything special that you did? Thanks for the help.

@86yukon You need an Apple composite A/V cable and need to Jailbreak your iPhone and get "DisplayOut" from Cydia.

I have the same setup as you (Landscape TV Out, slingplayer, 3G unrestrictor, cable), but I can only see YouTube video not my Sling.

I used the genuine Apple cable. They told you wrong, because as you can see in the video.. it works perfectly with the 3GS.
