  • Kate Bohner:: Thank you for your presentation about the misdeeds of Lookheed Martin/ U.S,Coast Guard/Northrop Grumman. I think the engineers approach was correct. He should be commended for his honesty and dedication to duty instead of being ignored and rediculed. I hope he finds employment with a honest company.

  • All who claim to be in the coast guard, where is your professionalism. Those comments are not in tune with the core values. I don't like how her video sounded but those weren't acceptable comments. All major projects have their issues that is a given. I don't know why he would have called the navy when the CG isn't part of the Navy. It is near impossible to monitor all water borders 100% we'd need to have a barricade of ships all the time to do that. Floating observations stations good luck all

  • The same type of thing is happening within the United States Postal Service. The only difference is that Northrop Grumman's FSS (Flat Shuffler Shredder) machines will not be permanently docked. Letter carriers are already struggling to deliver this $847 million dollar mess. Flat mail is only 'the most challenging category of mail to sort, process, and deliver' after upper level postal management and Northorp Grumman get through with it. There is a more sensible alternative.

  • Look, how about using objective tones instead of sarcastic commentator like tones Miss DICK BOHNER.

  • It's not just the Coast Guard that has inferior products "made" by Lockheed Martin. They may advertise on CNN but they are not working for America. They are run by a bunch of "bottom-line" technically incompetent managers who have no ethics and are ignorant of the their products and the potential damages they could cause. The "pencil pushing" engineers who originally developed these products won't be able to help because Lockheed fired them!

  • Holy shit, you have know idea how much we have to do with what little we have. "...completely undetected by the Coast Guard." Yeah, that is why we need Deepwater, because we're using 40 year old cutters as a mainstay for that area. We don't need cameras to do our watchstanding, we have non-rates for that and they may groan about it but Coasties do it and they do it right.

  • well we all see what she does for a living....

  • So what's the update with the engineer whistle blower?

  • I think I poped a BOHNER.

  • Kate I'll tell you what I think I have spent many years in the coast gaurd. I have traveled to many ports of calls and travelled many thousands of miles. In these travels I have met alot of woman, and I tell you what I bet you could blow a hell of alot more than a whistle if you no what I mean. I bet you could Suck start a Harley Davidson. LOL

  • You have only scratched the surface of the problem. The CG is a small organization trying to do a big job and the upper level leadership is overwhelmed which negatively impacts the entire organization and the taxpayers. There is more to your's, Bluesdog's and Mr. DeKort's videos about the CG's mismanagement of it's people and projects than you realize.

  • well i will remember this when you need help because you are drowning in cum you cunt

  • shut up u cunt this is stupid nothing is wrong with the contract or nothing leave the dame coast guard alone no body cares about what the fuck u have to say so shut up because i am a coastie and dont want to hear it

  • "because i am a coastie and dont want to hear it"

good reasoning -- a private corporation rips off taxpayers, screws coasties and puts the entire nation at risk. CG and other "brass" don't give a crap and are more interested in their post-service "bennies", but this goon "doesn't want to hear it".

Don't you understand these ppl are trying to save YOUR life and OUR lives, by ragging on your bosses and their cozy vendors?

No, I guess "patriotic smiles and handshakes" are more important.

  • You have it right - but don't go far enough. Leaving us open to another *terrorist* event, means leaving the public open to more blind paranoia, leaving the government free to shut down the Constitution and further disempower the ordinary citizen while grabbing more power for the executive branch and their pals, the wealthy.

  • Great job on the story, and on the cleavage!!

  • Nice job - Michael DeKort

  • thank you

  • The statement about "some pencil-pushing engineer at Lockheed Martin" is out of line. It's "pencil pushing engineers" that put satellites in orbit and enable you to show cleavage on YouTube. It isn't the engineer that should be blamed for overall production problems -- blame the corporate management or stockholders for demanding more profit, not the guy putting food on the table. Not all of us can blab our way to fame and fortune. Some of us have to work for a living.

  • Quite right.

  • I like your production, but if you want to use images that represent the CG, use images from THIS COUNTRIES Coast Guard! You mistakenly googled and used an image of a helicopter and surface vessels not in use by our CG. Accuracy is everything.

We have stripes on our helos, but not red ones, and we haven't used an old Sikorsky product (not THAT old anyway) for a long time.

    Come on!

  • ditto. our words exactly. Those were NOT USCG boats.

  • The elite of this country are almost down to their last enemy-and thats "the Constitution of the United States" finantual ruin might be enough to bring this country to it's knees. Hello NWO and North American Union. UN Control worldwide.

  • Guy should get a medal and a statue. Let freedom ring. US gov has gotten so utterly corrupt. Makes me furious, absolutely blindingly furious.

  • You look HOT! Keep it coming

  • Thanks for another update - this is a subject to far under the radar!

  • Our border control is a joke and we all know who's to blame. Same situation with crime control, it's not the police officers themselves but the lack of enough of them to do the job right. But as usual, the government would rather spend money in other countries than protect US citizens and our borders.

  • You should let me write a new theme song for you.

  • You amaze me every time! You're right. Even the USCG admitted to me that their ships are outdated and that they were the forgotten branch of the Armed Forces before 9/11. At least "The Guardian" was well done, lmao. Just kidding; I think what the Coast Guard does every day is excellent, but they definitely need to start making some changes!

  • Love your work Kate!!! Keep the stories flowing and have a great Memorial Day weekend :)

  • Shabba Dabba Doo Time!

  • KBTV is outstanding, but a KBTV update always takes it to the next level. Thanks.

  • Screw Time.

  • excellent update!!!

  • Excellent job Kate, Now fromEuropean prospective you do quality journalism. See movie Syriana couple of times. It made me realize the sme conclusion that I came later that USA based on total corruption. In our country so many of your major leades would be prison today. But in USA they will walk away.

  • The hair up gives a very sexy "Girl Next Door" look! LOL!

  • This is a fascinating story. I work on The Hill. You really break it down, Kate. I think most Americans realize how many people are involved in something like "Deepwater" and who is who when the finger-pointing gets nasty. I love your hair up!

  • Kate -- I love it when you do these updates! It shows me that you're getting feedback and also getting deeper into the "story". Happy Memorial Day!

  • That is interesting that you say that. I notice you are from Canada. Do you believe the quality of the media is better in Canada?

  • I think there is a lot of back door evil at work. There is not one source of media I can believe today without feeling it's been edited with propaganda in mind.

  • Great follow up my friend.. You are amazing

  • Get ready for the unvieling of KBTVonline! We launch the new website on June 2 -- it will feature recent KBTV episodes, an archive, bios of the KBTV team and Kate's blog ... "Kate's Take"!
