I sooo remember this game. There's a boardgame "convention" every year in my town, and i guess almost 20? years ago my mum and me went there....

I heard of this game before, so i was thrilled as hell, to figure out that you can borrow and play it at the convention.....

Until we began studying the manual... At least what i remember, incredibly complex for a board game. We never really started playing :D

I was thinking though the other day how I would love to hear a bit more about your PC Engine set-up finngamer, and what games you'd like to get in the future, or what games you've got for the system since you initial collection video.

I am considering buying one in the new year and would love to hear your thoughts on the system itself, and the best value model to go for.

Really great idea. Their are a lot of people I am sure that play "unplugged games" I played Magic for a while and thought it was an awesome concept for a card based RPG. I sold most of my cards but I kept all of my merfolk because they were my favourite cards and I can still make an awesome deck out of them with a nice sideboard.

Mate, superb video! I actually had similar idea in the pipeline for my channel. Played this game SO much when i was a kid. This was among my favorite boardgames along with Mutant Chronicles, Warhammer Quest and Space Hulk.

I usually played as the Wizard, always been drawn to spellcasting characters. I also made alot of new characters, i just love games that let you be creative and make your own characters and adventures. Think that's why i these days are drawn to the open world RPGs.

I have been playing this game all my childhood! This was an incredible game and I made a lot of homemade quest for it! I LOVE HEROQUEST and all its exapansions and the later Battlemaster...

Sadly, I missed out on Hero Quest as a kid. I was probably playing Dungeons and Dragons at the time :). I would really like to see any Warhammer tabletop games that you may have collected. I think I recall you saying in other videos that you're a fan. Thanks for the great videos, Finngamer!

Hey, i wouldn't mind more board game reviews. One of my favourites was Atmosfear, the lights turned off and the gatekeeper giving you instructions from the video as the timer runs down = Epic :)

I've still got that Dark World which is similar to Hero Quest but those games always daunted me with how complex they looked, now all the pieces are missing from it :(

Hero Quest is a great game! Used to play for hours with my brothers. He would always come up with the greatest stories and twists! We would even get into character and talk like we were really in the game haha! It's cool that you like these games as well =]

I totally forgot about the expansion packs. From memory Return of the Witch Lord was my favourite. Im going to have to see if i can find my copys at my parents house. Bearing in mind my mum chucked out my complete collection of Super Play magazine (binders and all) im not too confident im going to find them.
