@NMpros uh yeah no aim point all the way why cause I been to Iraq with both of em when it rains eo tech is useless looks all pretty an neat when the water hits the microscopic dirt is all over it. Target acquisition I beg to differ zero in your aim point you can hit a camels eye lash if you can shoot that is ,") so eo tech fail ask any one that was in a forward combat unit they'll tell you an I was
Dude, if you wanna reduce the weight on the handguard.. try the Magpul MOE handguard.. made of Polymer and durable.. actualy, if you wanna make changes in your rifle.. go MAGPUL on everything.. very good prices and excelent quality.. check out their stuff.. out,
@andrewlevino why drop the mag if it isnt' loaded. Im pretty sure even if it was loaded nothing would happen. his finger isnt in the trigger well and hes not pointing the rifle near him. Just saying why judge. im sure he knows how to handle his own firearm. No hard feelings
@andrewlevino why drop the mag if it isnt' loaded. Im pretty sure even if it was loaded nothing would happen. its finger isnt in the trigger well and hes not pointing the rifle near him. Just saying why judge. im sure he knows how to handle his own firearm. No hard feelings
I just purchased a rock river myself I was searching YouTube to view accessory possibilities I came across your video and was wondering what is the make and model of the foregrip with the retractable bipod that you have on your rifle. I would greatly appreciate it.
Aimpoint laser dots? Bad. Several reasons why. 1. More money. 2. Bad MOA. 3. Cannot acquire targets through AP sights using the irons sights (when batteries die). 4. Discoloration through lens. 5. Angle accuracy issues. Must be looking straight through.
Eotech Holographic sight. The way to go. Once you dial it for 150 yards, 300 and 25 yard shots are easy to acquire, quick, and accurate.
eotech makes great sites but it also depend what your using your weapon system for. over all i think optics are a great choice. its a big investment but it also looks cool
Nice rifle Frankie. I have almost the same rifle on order. Been two weeks, gotta wait a few more I believe. I like the pmags; I already have 4 of them in anticipation of the rifle getting here. The ones I got with the windows have an indicator for an approximation of how many rounds are left.
I have seen that foregrip before; when I feel the need for one that is the one I plan to go with as well.
i have the trijicon acog on mine with a mil-spec upper. its good out to 800yrd using 62-80 grain and penetrating rounds. plus its nice because all the scopes are now made to be looked through with both eyes open, so you have your target eye and peripheral eye. the price is really high though (around 1000-1400) but well worth the extra cash.
if not that sight, id get the eo-tech with a magnifier bc it doesnt help at 200+ yrds with out at least a 4x32.
I have an EOtech 557...DON'T get that model unless you get it with a magnifier. The EOtechs are really fuzzy, I kind of wish I'd got an Aimpoint but the EOTech isn't bad it does give you a better field of view.
You should check out the Bushnell Holo Sight its the same design also the same insides of an eotech but its just not mil-spec and doesn't have the metal around the sights and cost half as much, and for a magnifier the Burris ar-tripler is awesome and also affordable, your ar looks great too
i'd say go with the aimpoint. longer battery life, covers to keep the lenses clean, parralax free. but either way, they are both excellent sights, and you can't go wron either way.
Alot of people look down on UTG Under The Gun because they make airsoft accessories They are a division of Leapers but they do make rails grips and tactical equipment for real firearms Most of the quad rails you are paying for the name but some are free float wich will be a little more expensive but will make the rifle more accurate since the hand guards do not touch the barrel so it is a good envestment But if what you have works for you go with it
for me i like the Eotech because it designed to easy to aim with it. and who a human body is standing in that circle over 500 yard it will die or wounded. :D. But you don't use NVG so just get aim point it works fine too. they are almost the same price. If not get trijicon 4x32 scope. It is pretty nice to shoot over 500 yards.
hey nice carbine. ive had my rra for about 3 years been very happy with it they guarantee 1moa iloaded some sierra 53gr and got less than half moa. got an eotech on mine nice keeping both eyes open. eotech also makes a 3x magnifer to put in front of the sight which can be flipped to the side
I have a 512 eotech. Amazing sight. Great FOV. Extremely durable and is ready to mount out of the box. Aimpoint you get better battery life. I would go with the eotech
Get an Aimpoint first. Not only do their batteries last longer, I believe they are lighter, and one of the bigger, be it as it may, simpler, difference is that the Aimpoints come with a dust cover built on to their sights. That little detail might not seem big but when the day comes that your puttin your rifle back in the safe and you end up scratching your EOTech sight window on something youll be pissed off, lol.
I'll post a video of my setup with the CompM4. You can co-witness the optic with your BUIS and it gives you a perfect sight picture. I am not bias in the Aimpoint over the Eotech because I believe ultimately it is personal preference. There is pros and cons to both, so I suggest you go to a store and look through both to see which one is right for you.
I'm glad to see your getting aquainted with your iron sights before getting any optics. Alot of people fail to do this and get into a jam if they ever needed to use them. I've had the Trijicon ACOG, EOTech 552 and the Aimpoint Comp ML3 and yes they are big investments. I now have the Aimpoint CompM4 which I have found to perform great. Great battery life (constant on for 5 years on one AA) way better than Eotechs, but is personal preferance. My choice goes to the Aimpoint CompM4 all the way.
GO with the Aimpoint They stay on longer then eotech.EOTech turn off after 4hr. And u dont want that to happen in a gun fight. BUT if u in a gun fight for 4hrs call for back up.(lol).
hey bud i could'nt tell through the video but if you have a total flat top recever and not the ute you might be interested in the eotech with the rra domminator sight. i have the system and its awesome. I dialed in the dominator a standard battle zero ( around 300 meters) and the eotech at 100 meters. whats cool about it is you can use it in conjuntion with each other. look through the iron sights and see a red dot just right above the front post. its perfect for any range the aimpoint is shit
Both are great sights, but i perfer eotech. a dissadvantage of aimpoint is you can get tunnel vision, but not with an eotech. eotechs can take a lot of abuse, like the sights will work when their smashed. the eotech's retical is very nice, and has a much quicker target aquisition than an aimpoint.
I shot with the aimpoint and eotech and they both seem the same to me, aimpoint had a smaller dot. I just love the retical on the eotech. Check out my video
Your eon your way bro. Good comment about the iron sights.
The Aimpoint batteries last Waaaaay longer than the EOTech. EOTech is also more buggy in terms of the electronics. The Aimpoint is a beast. You can throw it across the room and itll work. Peace bro

whats the dif between the m4 and the ar 15
dermont5 2 years ago
M4 has automatic fire and has a 14.5in barrel. Same system though, but mainly the automatic fire sets it apart from the AR 15
dmjerrywest44 2 years ago
I also think eotech has a more aggressive look to it than aimpoint.
pbstarkiller 2 years ago
Eotech's glass is ALOT more durable and ALOT thicker than aimpoints. I believe eotechs warrenty has better coverage than aimpoints too.

UTG is an airsoft gun company...this is why it is cheaper...it is made for replica guns that shoot plastic bbs
TheYZ450F 2 years ago
It's cheaper because it's an airsoft rail. It will do the job and I wouldn't worry about it. It's no knights armament but good enough.
