Yes. Jonne of Korpiklaani does use it alot. You can hear it in all Korpiklaani albums except Tervaskanto, I'm pretty sure.

It's a traditional form of Sami singing, like has been said, and it sounds similar to the traditional Native American chant style that you'll hear.
