Sergei Dzinziruk is also a undefeated champ that deserves a shot. There are plenty of options...no need to fight guys that weight 20lbs less like Pac/PBF.

@97ruff That's not was being reported before the fight. I heard S.M. was well overweight before camp, and that's why P.W. wanted the catchweight instead of fighting S.M. at the 160lb limit. Sergio martinez weighed 178 only 2 wks b4 the Paul Williams fight, Sergio has no business trying to fight a guy that has to stuff himself to weigh 154 (Pacquiao). IMO Alfredo Angulo VS Sergio Martinez would be a great fight at 160 (Angulo has said he can move up easily). Or Lucian Bute VS Sergio at 168. Sergei Dzinziruk is also a undefeated champ that deserves a shot. There are plenty of options...no need to fight guys that weight 20lbs less like Pac/PBF.

I fully understand from a business perspective why he wants 2 fight Pac, but from a fight fans eyes, I would rather see him stick 2 guys his size and fight Kirkland/Angulo/Lucin Bute/Andre Ward/Abraham/Froch. There are plenty of options out there between 154 (ppl that actually weigh 154) and 168.

It is when a boxer eats and drinks a lot of fluid to be able to stay hydrated and take punches throughout the fight. they dont really weight that is fake. weight yourself in the moring than eat a whole punch of food and see if u would weight the same I know hundreds of boxers who go up in weight after they hydrate. Pac weighed 148 in the ring, and Sergio weighed 167 or 168.

If Martinez is having problems making 160 it is because it's hard for him to go down to 160lbs.
