This video terrified me, I have a pain in my toe, my my toe looks just like the other one, it's only on the side and It only hurts when I touch it or push on it, touching it is like just feeling actually, pushing is what hurts, when I push on my toe nail it barley hurts, I think my cat might of caught the side of my toe! He's caught my pinky and thumb and they hurt just like my toe, but my only problem is, I don't remember getting my toe slashed! xD

I am experiencing real pain with some toes right now, not as bad as yours, but getting worse I think. I dropped the tv remote on my foot today, about passed out. would you recommend this procedure after 3 years later? How does it look?

@phantom12321 I would. not having to deal with them anymore and acctually being able to run and kick without consequences is nice. and they look like normal except the nail is a bit deformed when it grew back but nothing serious.

@phantom12321 well they did but he said it as only a 85% chance it would work. i have since actually ripped back a nail since and had it fall off a few weeks later and it grew back the same as before but not normal.

Wow I feel sorry for this kid. Seems so young to have toenails removed. Obviously it had to be done. He'll be sore for awhile, but he should live. Lol! God luck guy!

I actually had this done when i was like 13 or 14 its not so bad, worst part is the local anesthetic, even after it wears off though tylenol is more than enough to manage the occasional pain.

If you have an ingrown nail for a long time the infection can get into your bones and you may need amputation.

thats good ... cause mine r just as bad as urs were ... ive kept it in for about 3 years and ready to get them fixed...im not relli worried bout the surgery...im more worried bout the needles and the aftermath of it all ... im jus wondering also if u felt anyyy pain what so ever during the actual surgery .. sorry if this question has already been answered

nope none just the needle and that's all.but do make sure he waits 10-15 min b4 starting to be sure its all good and numb

if you go to a good podiatrist you will not feel a thing trust me i've had about 4 cut out.  if he's a good one he will numb it first with some freezing spray then will put about three shots in which you will not feel if he numbs it first. I actually cut my own out with an exacty knife and some needle nose pliers.

no, well idk i had my whole toe nail removed and it took about 5 or 6 months for it to grow fully now when i grew fully it feels like the ingrown toenail is comming back i can feel the pain lol, and this is now i can feel the pain a very litte bit

well i will get the surgery 3rd time every year my toe nails ingrow but im not afraid anymore 3rd time is like going for shot it only hurted 1st time when my nail ingrowed 2nd time it wasnt so bad well and 3rd i think it only hurt like a musicito bite :D

Nope....it was because of the way i cut my nails...and from that they grew at an odd angle and into the skin.

cause where he cut the nail off the skin from underneath the nail and when he cuts around it....plus when he removed it it bleed more from the wound that the nails themselves had made.
