this can't be YouTube!?! Ur places and dates are uncannily accurate. appreciated. oh, not only the Rosicrucians but several other secret fraternities used the Monad and adapted variations as when it was first published in Monas Hieroglyphica 1583, it attempted to present the nature of magickal symbols in terms of geometric analysis, or in "theorems", ie. theorem 10 presents the four constituents of Moon, Sun, Elements, & Fire. Includes Fire as symbol resembles Aries, first sign of Zodiac
Presumably you want us to hear what you're saying - so why do you play irritating music louder than your own voice? I found this to be an interesting thesis but had to switch off for the above reason. Shame really - you have obviously done your homework.
Academic consensus is that Miguel Cervantes( killed off the same day as the mask Shakespeare) Michel de Montaige, Jacob Cats( in Holland) and Edmund Spencer wrote what they say... They are all wrong and i can prove it.....The group called the Areopagus( look at AA, The Acts of the Apostles 17:17(do you get the importance as a date in history) wanted to kick start the literature in each country in Europe, they realized that was the only way to drag us out of those dark ages...so created masks..
It is in the Martinist third degree and these guys are Rosicrucian to the core, in it it says " Remember the old stone temple in the South of France" Also if you put Doctor John Dee into the equation and his visit to the court at Heidelburg...Then look at the Bohemian court at Prague all influenced by the English rennaissance ..
@ducdejoyeuse Martinism originated in the second half of the 18th century, whereas the rosicrucian manuscripts circulated as early as 1610. There is no connection between the two. While martinism might be influenced by the gold- und rosenkreuz, it certainly has no connection to the original manifestoes. You should always make a distinction between the manifestoes and the later rosicrucian currents; they are not the same thing.
Francis Bacon spoke German and it had to be someone who had been initiated here,in France, in the temples described in the Chemical Wedding, i have all the books..
@ducdejoyeuse I said german in character - as in, they are so clearly influenced by german currents and are so full of early german nationalism (a hallmark of the rosicrucian tradition) that they couldn't possibly have been written in an english context. General academic consensus is also that Andreae wrote the chymische hochzeit, so I'm curious what books you are referring to. I've never heard of a french temple connection - please enlighten me on this point.
@ducdejoyeuse No it wasn't. It was written by the german lutheran pastor johann valentin andreae. Have you actually read the chymische hochzeit and the fama and confessio? The early rosicrucian tracts are so decidedly german in character that I really don't understand how anyone could propose they were written in England.
Great video. Although, an instrumental in the background would have sufficed.
