  • Love the Flinders ranges and Pichi Richi railway...nice work...well done!

  • @STEAMRAILWAYSHOP It's a beautiful area, thanks for nice comment.

  • i have been in that train and it is soooo kool

i realy hope we willl go back in september 09

  • Thanks for watching, hope you get to take this great ride again.

  • A strange sounding steam locomotive (for an anglophile), but what a marvellous engine all the same, and such incredible scenery too. Forgive the question, but what class of locomotive is that?

  • Not sure what class but I'll try to find out.. Maybe some other viewers may be able to help.

  • The loco is a W class, originally built by Beyer Peacock in Manchester for the Western Australian Government Railways in 1951. W 933 has actually seen more service with Pichi Richi (restored in 1973) then it ever did in revenue service. I am not 100% sure but that 'hissing' is most likely from the air compressor.

  • And with all these comments, you should get some youtube honours..well done.

  • Will add this video to my favourites, should be picked up by my train loving friends, I seem to have plenty these days.

  • Just keep a very close eye on websites who will pick our videos up and use them for their own purposes, in time this seems to happen to everyone on the tube, just seems to be the way things are.

  • Lovely Rolling Stock (free ad for my classic mad bomber video) yet again you have shown how videos should be made, and hopefully inspire others to get the camera out, and make videos.
