  • A great new way to watch movies on the cheap (Up to 52% Off) is to call Mr. MovieTicket at 1-800-940-MOVIE (24/7).

They sell discount movie tickets starting at just $6.50! (They're Even Cheaper Than Costco!) The tickets never expire and can be used for any movie, anytime, Nationwide! Tickets are delivered to your door and make great gifts as they never expire. Buy in bulk...they cost even less! Dgulley, you should call them, then mention them on your show to get free tickets for your viewers!

  • Duh!!! Doesn't everyone already know this!!

  • I just don't go to the movies. None of them are any good anyway.

  • ur hot

  • Ok so here is how I save money on movie tickets.

    1) use college id or vetrans id (old or new doesn't matter)

    2) buy tickets in bulk. You get tickets in bulk at the theater and they will be cheaper. (read fine print for the type that best fits your needs)

    3) Have senior, student, or veteran buy tickets.

4)sign up for movie theater customer appreciation cards if avalible.

    5)Entertainment coupons!

I usually use my student ID though, when I am not in school.

  • i save money on movies by watching them online for free, lol

  • i'm from calgary and there's a movie theater that charges $5 for admision and $2 on Tuesdays and mornings. But they show the movies like 2 months or so after there realese date

  • i never rented movies 4rm library. i have to try that

  • Great tip. I need to try this next time I want to see a movie.

  • Hello Dee, um it is borrow not rent free movies from the library, but still an awesome tip and one we use often. Unfortunately where I live, the matinee is not that cheap. However, they are still cheaper than the regular prices. However, I have 4 kids living at home so the movie theater is not an option. Fortunately, we have a drive in theater. Not too many of those exist and we do have one. So, we had a coupon and was able to go to the drive in for sixteen dollars for five of us.

  • My oldest was gone that particular weekend, and we were able to see two movies that my kids had really wanted to see. Hannah Montana movie and monsters vs aliens. Both were cute. Since we had our car, I bought a cheap five dollar pizza at Little Ceasars and before that we stopped by Walmart to get candy and pop for a much cheaper price than we could have at the snack bar. All total we paid about thirty dollars for all five of us and we had a great time!

  • HOW TO SEE MOVIES FOR CHEAP;

    1. Watch-Movies do t net

    2. Buy tickets at Costco, they're cheaper

    3. Get free tickets from the people on Hollywood & HIghland or with the Clipboards who need ppl for previews.

    4. Carry a big purse, put your snacks in it in Tupperware- spill proof bottles!

    5. Go out w/the guy you can't stand who keeps buggin you to go out- not free cuz it costs you a headache, but you wanted to save money! LOL.

    6. Wait 2-3 months for it to come out at the $1.50 movie theatre. SEE 5!

  • @WONDAWOMAN lol at the guy u can't stand but good tips :)

  • OH, i forgot.. catch up with the man in the wheel chair outside of the 99 cent only store.. he will be with a younger guy with dreads and a chubby blonde chick who makes roses out of Palm leaves.. THEY SELL BOOTLEGS.. shhhhh!!

But sometimes they have German subtitles & ppl walking across the screen & numbers running at the bottom.. HEHEEEEEE!

  • U juss need to move out of state lol!!!! I've lived in Georgia, kentucky, texas, and alabama and tickets are 9.50 and under!!! Also our matinee is 3-4 dollars! I usually pay 6.50 everytime I go to the movies by using my student id card --> thats an idea for high school and college students!!!!!!

  • I love the video and the shirt you are wearing do you have the pattern for it thanks

  • Wow if's very different in LA. Paying for parking is out of the question. But I do agree with the matinee. Sometimes I will bring a big purse and sneak in our sodas and candy (i'm bad) and then i only have to pay for popcorn. Last time I didn't do this and we spent $30 getting in and $30 at the snack bar. So I will go back to the big purse lol lol.

  • I was able to see Madea Goes to Jail at the matinee for $6.50 as well. had to walk a bit but it was cool.

  • Duh? You mean people go to movies other than the cheap times? Fools. I save more money by not going to stupid movies in the first place and waiting for them to be in the rental places. Pay for parking? I guess not living on the coast has it's benefits.

  • As much as I Luvvvv Universal & the Archlight here in LA I also refuse to pay for parking any more...So now I just bootleg em off da net...find a clean copy & toss it on da flat screen & its almost better than the theater..no parking, no kids, & no $20 for nachos, drink & M&M's

  • why would you have to pay for parking? I dont get it? It is a movie theater

  • At City walk , but she also could have taken the redline, or parked at the red line station, walked across the street and taken the tram up the steep hill to Citywalk, where the theatre is located. Most places DO validate parkiing for a couple of hours at the movies too.

  • I have never heard of paying for parking at a theater. Crazy! At the movie theater here the parking spaces are way smaller than regulation so it's really tough to find a parking space where people aren't double parked, etc. or where you can fit but we don't have to pay for it lol. Also, some movie theaters like the one here give discounts to students so if you live in a college town you can find at least $1 savings that way too. Ciao!

  • there's a little theatre nearby that i take my children. we take public transportation since my ride is already paid for (have a pass for work) and only 1 child pays on the public transportation. it's only $5.50 per person @ the movie and the price is good before 6pm everyday.

in chicago: it's davis theatre on lincoln near the western brown line stop

  • also those lil hole in the wall theaters where you can see two movies for like 4 dollars. they also let you bring in your own snacks I usually get a subway sandwich and then theater hop lol [probably shouldn't be saying that] lol but yes nice tip i actually rent from my library all the time.

  • Girlfriend,

You are too funny. See, I would be so hungry sitting next to you. The popcorn and soda just wouldn't do. lol

  • Ha ha I wont tell you then about the time I had a full green wet burrito a side of chips and guacamole and a horchata. -cracking up- yeah im know to have full buffets in my purse.. then later STILL get popcorn.. terrible.

  • you sound like fun!- that's what i used to do! lol

  • Lol, dont let me find a theater like that.

  • thanks for the tip!

  • Good lookin' out!!!

  • Good tips on how to save on movie tickets! By the way, was the movie good?

  • I thought it was o.k.

  • ummm i dont know how this helped cause i never heard of a movie theater charging u for parking...but okayyyy

  • Well, in the city of Los Angeles you have to pay for parking everywhere you go. This include the movies, some malls, and just last week, parking went up to $3.00 a day to park at the hiking trail near my house. Trust me, I know. I have lived in Los Angeles for seven years. Feel free to verify this information. You can google The Grove and The Beverly Center to see how much their theaters charge for parking.

  • Thanks girl! Love the hair! We have 2 kidz so hubby and I usually do matinee or watch it at home on the large screen tv, that's one way it pays for itself! LOL!
