yea, one of my friends is amazing pianist/vocalist in a conservatory. he picked up a guitar one day and decided he wanted to learn. In like a week or so of steady playing, he was pretty dang good. I mean his fingers are so used to moving quickly, it was like nothing. Guitar is not easy, but I feel like it is one of those instruments you can pick up real easily if you have prior musical abilities.

Because I concentrated 'Drifting' on piano first. As I got use to the notes flying around my mind, I started picking up the guitar and learned it. It took a lot of focus and yeah right six hours! I spent from afternoon to late night just learning 'Drifting'! Has anyone else done that?

sorry the whole two months thing doesnt sell to me but considering that you did play piano first does make it have some sense. if it really did turn out to be two months then those fingers must be gifted because its tough to learn chords with fingers new to the guitar but eh whatever good job at playing one of the best covers on youtube!

dude no one believes you that you picked up a guitar and in only two months you learned andy mckee drifting, maybe if you practiced six hours a day everyday, you had to of had some experience with the guitar before that, it takes even the most experienced guitars a few weeks to learn that song, and ur saying u learned it in two months without ever picking up a guitar and only havin the tabs to learn it with, your full of it! i admit though you did a damn good job of playing it

I know! I know no one believes it! And since when did I say that I played 'Drifting' before picking up a guitar? The first time I picked up my guitar, I just tried and tried, you know why? (read the comment below)

Because I concentrated 'Drifting' on piano first. As I got use to the notes flying around my mind, I started picking up the guitar and learned it. It took a lot of focus and yeah right six hours! I spent from afternoon to late night just learning 'Drifting'! Has anyone else done that?

Has anyone else done that before? Spending more than 6 hours just staring at the computer screen, watching the same video all over and all over again non-stop, with dry and burning eyes? in the begining... between the beat hits on the guitar, when you go to hit the strings, your doing it wrong, try to hit the 12th fret when you it the strings... you'll hit the 12th octave and it'll sound sick :P but other than that you blew me away!
