Bill Joe is indeed a very talented writer but I wouldn't say as much about his guitar playing.

I saw these guys on their second tour and they sounded great however Billy Joe decided it would be a good idea to play Eddie's "Eruption" in the middle of the set. This was not a good idea. I've heard 12 year olds at Sam Ash solo better than that.

He should stick to his strengths. And that's vocals and rhythm guitar.
