And i have been in love with relient k and love their style... This song is the best clean song ive heard so far and if an atheist who doesnt care what others believe or what songs mean and thinks the lyrics are beautiful then.... that just means good things :)

@PhamtasticAlena It didn't work out for me because I found too many hypocritical and non-loving facets of the religion. There are many things that don't work out for people, regardless of how good of a person they are, or how much they "tried" to be a Christian. To each their own.
@jennij9 Christianity is not about how good a person is. In fact, everyone has sinned and deserves the punishment for sin, which is death. BUT Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins and rescue us from eternal death. All we have to do is believe in Him, trusting His death as the payment for our sins - and we will be saved! Jesus died for you because HE LOVES YOU! :) Christianity is not really about religion. It's a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Just know that He cares about you :)

This album appeared in my life in 2006, close to the end of a 17 year battle with a severe polysubstance abuse problem, especially the meth, its the devils tool. As I attempted to quit time and time again I kept goin back. Then, Nov. 17th of 2007 A miracle happened, I quit! This album has helped me through some real rough times, and these guys are incredibly talented with their lyrics and the way they lay out song structure, God Bless Relient K, thank you for the music guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm an atheist, and don't believe in any God but this is still a lovely song. I prefer to think of it as about life, not religion. It makes it easier for me to relate to and then more enjoyable. The song may be about God to the artist, but it doesn't have to be about that to me.
This song is one of my favourite songs from Relient K, everytime when I'm tired, it helps me sleep peacefully. I can use this song for sleeping, cheering up and it has alot of meanings to my life. Relient K helped me alot. Thanks :D

My youth leader had a box of old CD's in a closest and asked me to go through them and pick out the ones I liked.
They had like 5 Relient K cd's in there and now I can't get enough.
They're number 1 artist on my iPod.

@FunnyNamed The band is a christian band, the members are christian, and if you know christians they don't use God's name in vein, so you can confer that he's saying "God I love you" in an affectionate way to God, not to someone else like "God, I love you" if that makes any sense.
It's a christian band, it's talking about God. You can interpret it to be what you want, but that doesen't change what it's meaning.

I'm an atheist, and don't believe in any God but this is still a lovely song. I prefer to think of it as about life, not religion. It makes it easier for me to relate to and then more enjoyable. The song may be about God to the artist, but it doesn't have to be about that to me.
