As far as I'm concerned the choice between Thor the god of War and Loki the trickster is a FALSE one that the Powers that Be would love to sell an increasingly brainwashed public...as usual. I would have hoped BOTH would have been rejected by now...in favor of Baldur...the god of love, reborn to lead humanity to a New Earth free from War and disease...the only god from the Nordic Pantheon to survive Ragnarok.

@LightningBoltFACE No god survived Ragnarok, in the myth's only 2 people survived a human man and woman. And Thor was not the god of war, war is the domain of Odin, Tyr, and a bunch of other gods. Thor is a fighter but does not represent war. And Loki the trickster is also known as the god of fire.

@LightningBoltFACE But Loki is the trickster. I personally just go with the bastardization of Norse myth. By this point, it's been going on for over 40 years, you may as well just go with it. People figure out sooner or later that the Marvel Thor and Loki are different from the Norse myths and that's just how it is. Once you get past that, it's easier to enjoy the comics themselves. I love cute little Loki they have right now in the comic.

Why aren't the guards stationed on the wall/in a tower so they can warn the rest of Asgard that hundreds/thousands of enemies are marching on their city?

Naturally, as Marvel Thor is retarded, that should have been Heimdall's job but he -in the comics I've seen- just stands on the damn bridge (Bifröst) instead of being in his giant tower (Himinbjörg) from where he could see anyone approaching Asgard.

(this version of Asgard and Valhalla isn't all that bad though, it kinda has the Norse style)
