In my opinion,, this was a 80's pop version of Queens Bohemian Rhapsody. An attempt to mix a whole lot of different tempos and styles into one song. And when it came out all those years ago, I loved it, and still do.

I'm proud to say that my first ever concert was Transvison Vamp at the Auckland Town Hall. No one turned up, we were 3 deep. Great to view the band but man they looked pissed lol and we got an encore, thank you Transvision Vamp, it was an excellent concert!

It wasnt released as a single, the singles from the Velveteen album were 'baby I dont care' 'landslide of love' 'the only one' and 'born to be sold' so its only available on the Velveteen album and a couple of the 'best of' compilations :)
i have to agree wit you on that point the rest of the album was poppy ,reasonable fare but this just reeks of wendy vamping it , this song give me a warm glow inside every time i hear it takes me back to when i first discovered the joy of woman.
is there something wrong with liking this type of song..... you need to set some time aside to listen to this song...... Rhapsody at its best...
