East Pakistan was 1500 km far from west .these 1500 km were under enemy control.
East Pakistan was covered by Indian Territory from three sides.
Indian Media was far more stronger to propagate against Pakistan.
There was dictator ship in Pakistan; therefore, people of Pakistan were not supporting Army. Indian intelligence was making undercover operations in Pakistan armys uniform to turn bengalis against pak army.
This government is formed of rajakars,so how can we expect them to trial their brother.Their reasons for not prosecuting rajakars are laughable not enough time? They are starting the Dhaka metro plan which is gonna take 5 years to finish and the cant start a trial where there are unlimited evidence and can be finished within a matter of months
Clearwallet raises an interesting question - would such a prosecution try ALL those who committed crimes? In that case, would Bangladesh be ready to render judgement on its own freedom fighters who also stand accused of war crimes. Either we take a stand that all war crimes are heinous and deserve prosecution or realise the hypocrisy of declaring only 1 side guilty.
