  • hey i love your bass playing your cool man

  • This looks difficult. Man! Paul is brilliant. I love that man

  • @blackspace007 yea its a pretty riff. but just to let you know for this song goerge wrote that bass riff and paul made up the guitar solo. but not to knock you down though, just a bit of Beatles Trivia

  • Note that the sliding thing in the bass line like he play here aren't being played in the original bass track, but of course same progression.

  • Nivce Job!!

  • i hate seein bass player using a pick :(

  • @mrhorncob why? paul mccartney uses a pick

  • @MrBendorandoran i just don't like it.. it sounds better with fingers, looks better, and i just like seein it. when i play i only use picks if it's really fast things, but it sounds thicker with fingers.

  • @mrhorncob It depends on the song if the pick is good or not. Beatles songs should be played with pick (only few songs with fingers). CCR, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson etc. are for fingers...

  • Hello, everybody. Always thank you for comment.

I began bass cover of the Beatles again. Please enjoy it from a channel !

  • Great cover. One of the best on Youtube. Ganbatte ne!

  • Paul once said that playing bass & singing was like patting your head & rubbing your stomach...

Is this really adapted from a Motown (James Jamerson) bass line??

  • ..try singing & playing that!!!!

  • Hi! D (on A-string with pinky) to low F# (on low E-string with pointing finger ) to open E ( on low E-string) and back; saw it on youtube video where the master himself plays his Hofner. Funny solution.. I can´t hear it on the record.. the guitar and bass plays it in different ways. Thanks

  • VERY GOOD

  • I have always loved the bass in this song, and you have done an amazing job!!

  • nice job, but when we watch Paul playing this song live he remains in first position with his fingers or it would be imposible for him to sing and at the same time make all these jumping along the fretboard.

  • polytheneted it can't be Paul because Pauls left handed and this dudes not. nice job with this song by the way dude

  • Why should he loose the pick? Paul played with a pick

  • Hey I was wondering about something.

So right now I have a crestwood bass. I dont know wich model it is but I want to get a Hoffner bass. I can only buy the Hoffner Icon B right now because of the price.

I want to play more music like Beatles style and I want to know if it will sound better on the Hofner than on my Crestwood.

    Anyone can help.

    Thanks in advance.

  • @kerel34 Thank you for comment.

  • @kerel34 you're telling him to lose a pick on a Beatles Song?????? Do you know who Paul McCartney is!?

  • @kerel34 paul uses a pick in most of his songs..

  • @kerel34

hes fine with the pick. playing with fingers isnt the "correct" way of playing becuase there is no "correct" way of playing. Besides Paul Mcartney played with a pick a lot

  • @kerel34 McCartney plays with a pick

  • @kerel34 Paul plays with a pick.

  • @gregorisgod More to the point - Paul McCartney is a left handed guitar player - this guy isn't

  • @kerel34 but even paul played with a pick.. it kinda gives the effect

  • @kerel34 paul uses a pick

  • @kerel34 why lose the pick? paul played with one.

  • @kerel34

Why? Paul always used a pick...

  • @kerel34 Paul always used a pick. Nothing wrong with it.

  • @kerel34 why should he mccartney uses a pick

  • @kerel34 Yo dude, Paul used a pick on like everything they played. Have you never watched a Beatles video?

  • @tacotank10 - No he didn't.

Listen to the Anthology album. He didn't use it on From Me To You. He didn't bring it 'cos he "thought he wouldn't need it". He played his Rickenbacker on this aswell.

  • @Russtyman01 - actually there are VERY few songs did not use a pick. Under half a dozen I believe. "Til There Was You" and "And I Love Her" were other finger picked songs. Some songs he didn't play at all - George or John played a Fender 6 string bass.

  • @kerel34

I Dont know if you know but Paul Mccartney play with a pick

  • @kerel34 FYI... MCCARTNEY FREQUENTLY PLAYED/PLAYS WITH A PICK, ESPECIALLY IN THE EARLY YEARS.

  • @kerel34 why? thats how mccartney used to play bass

  • Or contemporary? My bad i said composition

  • @rickyman223 Thanks. My bass is "contemporary".

  • Is that the composition series or icon?

  • Your Hofner rocks, man. You play really nice, I just dislike your hand slides, You'd better experience if you hold it still and drag it only in case. When you play the chorus, you drag your same finger in every position, try not to do this.

You are great. I'd like to have this bass too... Here in Brazil is soooo expensive.

    Regards...

  • WOAH!! Paul, you have another YouTube channel!? 5 STARS!

  • @ImSoCasual Nah, PPaul is Lefty, But If This Is Mirrored Probably is him. :p

  • its really good. Not how paul plays it but still good.

  • Tight!!

  • Best cover on here that I've heard so far. Most people don't do it anything close to right. Good job.

  • great great great

  • cool

  • great man

  • Great job! Cool bass guitar.

  • Who is Beatleoyaji....you're Paul McCartney, aren't you !!!!! Hehe..come on, give up, we all know this is Paul McCartney playing this stuff...hehe..oh, man,,you are soooo good !!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you. Thank you very much.

  • lol he might be mistaken for him if he were only left handed

  • @polytheneted if he would play left hand, i'd really think he's Paul...ahahaha

  • @polytheneted and paul reversed the camera to fool everyone? hehe, I agree with you!

  • @polytheneted Paul plays his bass the other way around like does the notes wih his right hand and picks with left.

  • Wow this is great because this is the next one I'm learning.

  • Do you also play the bass?

    Thank you for the comment.

  • Yes, just a little for about two years now. I use to play drums in the late 1960's early 70's. Picked up an acoustic guitar in the middle 70's to play every now and then.

Recreational sports is not possible now, but music is good. I started playing guitar a little more seriously 4 years ago. Then I decided to play bass because I wanted to learn, I SAW HER STANDING THERE. I like the Beatles.

The Beatles' bass music I play well, would also be: Revolution, Taxman, All My Loving, She Loves You.

  • The video of came to want to see reading the comment.

Do not you post it to your channel?

    I waits in expectancy.

  • your make the best bass covers, of paul, congratulations

  • Thank you for comment.

  • "Nowhere Man" and "Hey Bulldog" are quite fast bass. but you might be safe.

I looks forward to your performance.

  • Thank you for the comment.

Maybe... I thought that Paul played the bass like this.

    Paul's bass is difficult...

  • Awesome! Good work. :) Now I feel compelled to learn it, which I wasn't before.

(oh, and this isn't Cedarly, this is her sister, I'm too lay to sign int o my own account.lol)

  • Thank you for a comment glad.

The one learnt from Paul's base is abundant.

  • The comment and the message cannot be answered because I'm recently busy.

    I'm sorry.
