  • This brings back so many memories of my time in the RAF based in Gib in the '70's. As the aircraft turns for take off I can see the airman's accomodation block where I stayed. My son was born there and I still feel a strong connection with Gib. Sorry to hear of your loss.

  • Boxertools who added this video, was my Dad, He died last June, he never made it back to Gib, this was his last trip and the last view he had of it (what a view too). He was so proud to have Gibraltarian blood! and he would talk about it and his family wherever he went. Myself, mum and Brother Jonathan arrived back from Gib yesterday after seeing the family for the first time since dads death. I love Gibraltar.. and I am proud to hold a Gib passport.

  • the mountain real name is" tariq bin ziyad"

  • im going there in 4 weeks for la feria and i cant wait im soo excited

  • Ah, La feria, I remember going when they used to have it in Gib, on the car park by the cable car.

I went to the one in La Linea about 4 years ago.

I always get excited when I go back as well.

AM planing on going back for national day, Set 10th.

I was born in the UK, my mother is from Gib (well, was, we took her ashes back there last year) which entitles me, my wife and my 2 children, to hold a Gib I.D.

Very proud to be 50% Gibraltarian.

    Adios.

  • loved this clip, used to go there a lot for my holidays but this part was the saddest - the journey home! You were lucky there was no levante - the Rock Fog which comes with an East wind. Best Wishes and Many thanks.
