Ambassador, From Cross mov't has his own albums, The Thesis is really good, haven't heard the others. If you like Beastie Boys type Rap try Mars Ill, they are crazy talented. All are Christian.
Speaking of Wu Tang, a guy from Wu Tang came to Christ a while back. I don't know the group, but Mars Ill has a track on Pro Pain with him on track 4.
Cross Movement, of course, then Phanatik, Da Truth, & Ambassador all have their solo albums also. Mars Ill is great. White rappers I'm famaliar with KJ52, Playdough & John Rueben.

OMG, this was the first song that turned me on to gospel hip hop about 9 years old (yes the song is that old). Love Cross Movement, Ambassador, Da Truth and all of them. Thank God for hip hop gospel. It hurts to know that other Christians try to tear it down b/c it doesn't sound like what they are use to, these men spit the real word!

If you know all about the Cross Movement, then you should be aware that they aren't coming back as a group because they released their last album together in 2007 called History: Our Place in HIStory. The guys made it abundantly clear they will continue on rapping as solo artists, not as a group.

I like all music, but I have to agree. I love hip-hop, rock, bluegrass, country, folk, but some people just do not have a taste for some music. I am not much for yoddling or Big band.
Saw these guys in '01 at some Christian music festival & I don't listen to this music as I'm very skeptical.. but these guys BLEW me away, especially when they did "What Do You See?". Awesome band, God bless 'em.

I know there are a lot of religious right-wing conservative nutcases out there who HATE rap music (e.g. soccer moms). But I think if they heard music like this and understood the message that's being preached about our savior Jesus Christ, they might appreciate it and say, "It's rap, but I'll give this group credit where credit is due." Well, maybe not soccer moms....you mean Kidz Bop is still making horrible music?????
The kids of those "religious right wing Conservative nutcases" probably make up atleast half of this group's fan base. The group has alot of exposure in the CCM community (Contemporary Christian Music) which is dominated by "religious right-wing Conservative nutcases". It is only a relative few who oppose this kind of stuff. As for Secular Rap music, anyone with a brain has to disrespect how pathetic it has become, I couldn't blame "Soccer moms" or anyone else for doing so.
Why you even commenting if you're going to disrespect the entire genre of hip-hop. I understand what you mean about the secular rap industry today, but to call fans of a Gospel rap group religious right wing Conservatives nutcases is going way beyond the boundary line. If you're going to show how much of a bitter liberal you are, save it for a political video, not a rap music video.
By the way, Gospel rap has received more attention these days because of the pathetic commercialism of secular rap. You know why? Because unlike the secular artists, Christians don't need to rap about what they have or what they can get to spread a simple message of truth and honesty.

i heard these cats in high school around the time they dropped. this was the first rap song that convinced that gospel hip hop can sound tight. classic.
this song was really tight. I remember seeing on rap city when I was in highschool. I was shocked to find out that was gospel rap. I saw these guys perform and was really impressed by there style. It didnt' even sound like gospel rap but went and bought the cd soon after. really good music.

Yeah, u r right, and they still have some nice tracks. But man, it seems that they r starting to do trendy bubble gum whack music!! Now the most important thing we can't forget is these brothers r doing the will of GOD, Amen! But on a music stand point they r going away from that raw his hop,in other words to me they r falling off. I feel that r swift is going to bring them back, with songs like the block and breatha, instant classics's.

Son, and like I said R-swift is going to bring them back with his raw style. To me the crossmovement is doing trendy music and I'm not feeling it. but hey, that's only my opinion. Those bothers still spit the word of the living God, so i will support that, but not their style of music.Just like i wouldn't listen to country gospel, but i will support the WORD OF GOD that they bring forth in their music. If you know all about the Cross Movement, then you should be aware that they aren't coming back as a group because they released their last album together in 2007 called History: Our Place in HIStory. The guys made it abundantly clear they will continue on rapping as solo artists, not as a group.

Whats ur point son? I have that CD to Brah, and I know that they all were going solo homey. Ur not telling me anything new. I let my kids have that CD. As solo artist they r making trendy music. I like all music, but I have to agree. I love hip-hop, rock, bluegrass, country, folk, but some people just do not have a taste for some music. I am not much for yoddling or Big band.

Saw these guys in '01 at some Christian music festival & I don't listen to this music as I'm very skeptical.. but these guys BLEW me away, especially when they did "What Do You See?". Awesome band, God bless 'em.

I know there are a lot of religious right-wing conservative nutcases out there who HATE rap music (e.g. soccer moms). But I think if they heard music like this and understood the message that's being preached about our savior Jesus Christ, they might appreciate it and say, "It's rap, but I'll give this group credit where credit is due." Well, maybe not soccer moms....you mean Kidz Bop is still making horrible music?????

The kids of those "religious right wing Conservative nutcases" probably make up atleast half of this group's fan base. The group has alot of exposure in the CCM community (Contemporary Christian Music) which is dominated by "religious right-wing Conservative nutcases". It is only a relative few who oppose this kind of stuff. As for Secular Rap music, anyone with a brain has to disrespect how pathetic it has become, I couldn't blame "Soccer moms" or anyone else for doing so.

this song was really tight. I remember seeing on rap city when I was in highschool. I was shocked to find out that was gospel rap. I saw these guys perform and was really impressed by there style. It didnt' even sound like gospel rap but went and bought the cd soon after. really good music.
