  • It's like an RC plane with a tumor.

  • Gonna go out on a limb but that looks like a lawn chair in the cockpit. Still, very cool plane

  • nice music

  • how cool is that !!!

  • nice chemtrails

  • Do you have a Safety Parachut ?

  • straight and level would be all Id do in that thing.....

  • I'd rather buy a RV-4 thank you...

  • Great video. BTW what's the name of the music? :-)

  • @mohummed1

Music is from the Album "Play" by Moby.

    Song : Everloving

  • @lcdvasrm Thanks :-)

  • great video, very well done.

  • i wonder if they make one for fat people.........

  • So I'm guessing you have to be multi-engine rated... but exactly do you get dual training for something like this?

  • If the leed comes off the sparkplug mid flight, just open the hatch and plug it back on haha

  • And I use to say that the pa-38 tomahawk was an small plane...

  • The cockpit gives it a lot of drag, i assume.

  • 20 People crashed on final in a Cri Cri!!

  • where do you get those and how much do they cost

  • @mrsbeckstead , Buy at Home Depot, aisle 6.

  • That thing looks like a blast to fly

  • It seems really hard to control!!!

  • 20 people have never flown an airplane.

  • What kind of dork wears a flight jacket with patches on it to fly this lawnmower? Haha

  • its annoying you need to do a multi engine rating to be able to fly this!

  • After reading the story of this plane on the BBC's website, I thought i was only just invented but I see that the video was uploaded on 2007.

Now looking at this old video and realise that the plane is now using an ELECTRIC engine!! Amazing! Till your battery runs out lol

  • After reading the story of this plane on the BBC's website, I thought i was only just invented but I see that the video was uploaded on 2007.

Seems to be an amazing plane

  • I want one!

  • I don't suppose a midair engine restart would be a possibility.

  • @joshcfriesen it acc would if you think of it. the moving air mover the things anyway

  • @joshcfriesen if you have long arms maybe....ha...of course then you'd probably knock a wing off with your elbow......

  • that is great engineering right there, any idea on the payload?

  • the acoustic guitar in the music to this is so out of tune

  • in 2:51 the bin laden's house rsrsrsrsrsrsr

  • no fundo, aos 2:51, a casa de bin laden kkkkkkkkkkk

  • I wonder where people get these little planes

  • It can cruise at same speed as a C-152. I want one. Looks like much more fun.

  • What is that song being played in the first part of the video?

  • @mogeroithe Moby - Everloving ;)

  • Comment removed

  • The best part is that in the USA you can log it as multi-engine time and you don't even need a multi-engine rating to fly it.

  • I don't want a 747 for christmas anymore. Sorry Boeing.

  • @brasileiropower What would you do with a 747.... It aint cheap running one :)

  • @taivo67 that's why I want one of these to fly on my backyard.

  • @brasileiropower Who wouldn't like that idea? :)

  • In this case its not just the plane its also the pilot. He must have logged plenty of hours to do what he just did. How many hours does that pilot actually have?

  • ha ha ha they should name that thing F-2000 Voodoo Star Fighter or something.

  • this is a bad ass plane...hope one days i can buy one or build one hahahahahah

  • @kuvuakoj

You are false this aircraft is very long and complicated to built: this is the price for the lightweight for a complete aluminium plane. looks like a ultralights but isn't: only a good skilled pilot can fly it safe but he is very reactive...

  • thumbs up if vhe in the little plane look a little like adam sandler

  • Great music! Who's the artist?

  • I can get that plane on my Simulator, I never knew what it was till now lol

  • flying lawnmower...

  • best plane ever how much is it

  • Stall speed is the same as cruise I'd bet. Them r tiny wings

  • @KyleWGlenn Stall is 49 kts without flaps 42 with. Cruise is about 100 kts

  • @KyleWGlenn Stall is 49 kts without flaps 39 with. Cruise is about 100 kts

  • who the name thist city

  • this is sweet! xD

  • haha i want one! looks a bit dodgy on landing though. bit top heavy...

  • Can you tie a rope and fly it in circles ?

  • see, you can either use your JR 12X to fly it, or hop in and fly it yourself

  • Cute...does it come with remote control?

  • Great vid! what's the music for the first part ?

  • It is fully aerobatic, cruises at over 100 mph while it "sips" fuel , not bad for two very small engines!

  • Great plane, great photography, great music! I love everything about this video.

  • Your balls are far bigger than your plane. This was the best video I ever watched!

  • like, sceptic tank?

  • Nice. I wouldn't mind having one of my own. Landing looked a little sloppy, but I'm sure that's mostly due to the size and responsiveness of the craft and not so much the pilot.

  • Hard to believe it flies so well with such small wings, stall speed seemed very reasonable. Amazing. Very nice video, thanks!!!

  • Pure joy. If it weren't for the 2-stroke engines' noise, flying the CriCri has got to be the closest thing possible to being a bird. That thing looks like 85 kilos of pure fun.

  • the music is by Moby - Porcelain

  • It's skeptic, not sceptic.

  • A comment from a 747 driver. +) SPLAT!(+ "Didn't know bugs had "N" numbers."

  • what kind of engines are those, do u control eachone separately? YOu gotta get hit me back that is the smallest plane ive ever seen. Are the wheels powered at all

  • at 6:26 the altimeter is broken...JK XD

  • One of the best videos on flying. As a pilot, this gives as close a view and feeling, of flying, as you can get by watching a film. Beautiful composition & wonderful music. I fly conventional, experimental and ultralights. It's the smaller planes, like the CriCri, that really give the feeling of soaring like a bird. Many pilots come into my hanger, to check out my plane and they all have the same comment. "I would love to fly something like that, but just don't have courage.

  • quick! the engines are out! glide it back dow...... OH SHIT ITS A BRICK!

  • Can we put our hours in multi with this?

  • These are not well know in the states but are know everywhere else. and have a large user base. its actually smaller than the largest RCs.

  • The two 8hp stihl chainsaw motors are cool. but I'd want the two RC jet motors I seen on one. They even put electric motors on it. Amazing plane

  • Holy crap I'd hate to stall the engines. Yer gotta get out of the seat for a pull start. Longer cords is an option I hope. And look at the seat at 1:13 Its an old deck chair.

  • I want one!

  • That thing can MOVE!

  • That thing is INSANE....LOL. It's like an oversized RC airplane with enough room for a man to site. Unreal.....

  • careful not to fart to big in the plane though, you might die

  • If you're about to go into shock, buy this plane!

  • i see chemtrails

  • heeh well during the startup what if the brakes let go? i dont see any chocks:) safety first, and any video with OEI performance? can it even fly straight and level on one engine?

  • whati is the name's song??????

  • Seriously , Ive flown Models bigger than that thing

  • It's two chainsaws flying in close formation!

  • sorry for my second comment but i need this music on track from 04:33 to end of record...thanks MYNAMEISBUBU

  • hi all.. wonderfull small acft....where can i get one???

  • fajne

  • I want one!!!

     Where can I get one?

  • ... Hadn't space enough... So Google: "Colomban Cri-Cri" and check out of the results at first the Wikipedia etc.

  • also what is the horsepower raiting and prop sizes for the engines he is running...and weight..

  • where can i find kits or planes for this aircraft? anyone know any help will be very helpfull thank you!

  • what are those engines? i mean wtf are you using... it`s awsome : ) i lke it

  • 「鉄の塊が空を飛ぶもんか」とは別の意味で飛んでいるのが不思議でならない

    よく空中分解しないものだ

  • flying danger. :)

  • Truly an inspiring video and plane. Thank you!

  • colonial, why do you have to be a jerkoff? Not every American is fat. Hell every country has fat people. Stop being a dicklicker.

  • jaja exelente diseño de aeronave genial casero por lo q veo, motores de rc increible ya se q are mas adelante y felicito a los diceñadore muy buena aerodinamica excelente

  • Nothing comforts me more, to see my two engines jiggling around on sticks. As I pull start them, preparing to take off in the thing...

  • @CyberAsomatous LMAO, just what I was thinking.

  • @CyberAsomatous it wasn't the engines that where jiggling it was the whole plane (i think the shocks on the landing gear are loose or at least the springs are)

  • @CyberAsomatous i nearly shit my pants

  • @CyberAsomatous THey Really do Jiggle dont they heh xD

  • @CyberAsomatous Well at least you got two of them :D

  • @CyberAsomatous I wanna see the video of him pull starting them mid-flight :-D

  • @CyberAsomatous who needs comfort :D

  • @CyberAsomatous hehe...to compare sticks to efficiently engineered, environmentally relevant technology is as "comforting" as 8th grade compared to university education.

  • oh man that looks like it would be amazing and beautiful, being able to fly around like that and see everything about you... this is something to put on my "things to do before i die" list (if i had one) : )

  • Heh! ...it sure can. One of these fascinated us at Popham one year, my wife really liked it, and when the owner flew out, she was ecstatic when he did a circuit at full speed.

Of course, _she_ would fit inside!

Me? Never! I'm well over 6 foot now, so would not have fitted since I was 13 years old.

Clever aircraft design - believe that some adminsitrations allow it to be flown on a single engine pilot licence, since it behaves so well with an engine out.

  • The song in the background after 4.35. is Moby - Porcelain ;)

Great video and beautiful song !

  • what music is this in the background after 4.35. Thanks great video.

  • I really want to do this now.

  • Genius small airplan ever made.

Hat off infront of Mr. Michel Colomban

  • A fat ass American would not be able to fly this plane for sure.

  • that dude in the white plane looks just like adam sandler!

  • motherfuckin loud.

  • how much it weigh?

  • How much it weigh?

  • that is fcking awsorme

  • Is equiped parachute?

  • Suicide machine. You've gotta be out of your fuckin' mind to fly one of these.

  • I wouldnt fly that shit.

    Awesome btw

  • Looks like George Jetson's "car". But there's no room for his dog, Astro.

  • "And I lernet my engrish ik Oksford." you lernet your engrish ik oksford you say?

  • Never!

  • FANTASTIC I LIKE ONE AIRPLANE

  • do a barrel roll?

  • a bird like a pigeon would knock it outa the sky

  • how much I would spend for crafting cri cri plane at all?

  • Switzerland is really so beautiful from the sky

  • where can i gets me self oen of these??

  • What are its V speeds? How about take and landing distances?

  • I wish I have one. Do you need to register Cricri because it's so small?

  • Designed by Michel Columban from France, billed as world's smallest twin. Recent crashes believed to have been caused by unauthorised mod's to Michel's superb original design. There's even one with twin turbines. Cri-Cri is french for cricket (the insect not the game) and is shown on the logo. Do a net search and find out more about this amazing plane.

  • Nice Video and I wasn't expecting that rate of climb near the trees.

  • Doubt you know much about it ZULU.

Just another youtube wanker with an (illinformed) opinion!

I have a PPL and some say the same re new composite aircraft like the lancair compaired to say a cessna 172. The new stuff TEARS TO SHREDS THE OLD SHIT. And is also cheaper, a new C172 (basic 4 seater) costs about $450K Aussie easily. BLOODY RIDICULOUS!

  • Dangerous piece of shit. it would slice the calves off you.

  • Excellent video thank you!

  • that is awesome

  • Working on sceptic today

  • I can't imagine a real airplane to be any tinier.

  • dumb question. . .Where was this video taken at? Are they not required to run strobe lights there? Here in the US they must run strobes any time the engines are running or the aircraft is in motion.

  • Beautiful footage!

  • LOL at the tuned pipes!!

  • Lovely little aeroplane, but looks very 'twitchy', I think I would get one of my radio control aerobatic models out to practice for a first flight on type! I have been in love with this minimal aeroplane from the first time I saw the earliest prototypes. My first solo was thirty five years ago on a Druine Condor, taildragger with no flaps, that was pretty much a minimal machine too. Those people who are terrified of the engines stopping - they don't go down like Wile E. Coyote into the canyon!!

  • este avião ficaria muito melhor para planar se dobra-se a largura da asa , quem concorda comigo ? [ e mais seguro nê ]

  • that's multi-engine time!!

I'm wondering if the airline companies will consider it for Hour buiding... lol :D

  • It seems to me that the only thing keeping this plane in the air is it's engines. I bet if you lose one of them, the thing falls like a rock.

  • @dmb3808 Nah, Lose 2 and it will still glide- Bubu, what is the stall speed?

  • that landing looked a little to scary for me!

  • it crashed at 2:50

  • Looks well fun. I've flew a 4 man plane with a pilot. I'd love to fly a plan alone it would be great but you gotta go through too many COSTLY lessons lol. Nice vid though what an awesome plane

  • That's a one lovable plane, but it rather isn't my dream plane. I prefer something bigger and with more glide.

  • the song is "everloviong" by Moby

  • What's the name of this song?

  • I bet #1 on the checklist is a good prayer :)

  • Do you need a multi-engine rating to fly that?!

  • hahaha what a little shitbox!!!

    i love it!!! :)

    cord start!

  • Nice plane and great scenery. Can it fly on one engine? if so, does it handle safely? Is anything other then level flight dangerous? Thanks

  • awesome!!

  • cool

  • Service ceiling of a chainsaw engine? You can bet that's not in the owner's manual.

  • Nice views from Swistzerland!!! I love it!! ¿Home build airplane? hehe

  • That is really cool!!!! what is the song?

  • that putt-putt plane is a hoot!

  • adorei esse aviaozinho, queria ele pra mim!

  • One of the related videos to this is called weight loss motivation lol you would have to be pretty light to fly the first plane

  • I saw this so many years ago and never was a skeptic of it. We have built a small plane as teenagers out of aluminium pipe and mylar and placed dead weight in the front and rolled it down a hill. It took off and I glided it for a fair distance. It was the best experience of my life. We didn't have the money for an engine so we just glided it off the hill slope for fun. The cri cri would be difficult to fly. So sensitive on the stick.

  • You can see some RC model much much more bigger!!!!

  • Nice film, well put together. Would like to see more.

  • Gostaria de saber qual é o tema musical?

  • tema musical: Everloving

    artista: Moby

    album: Play
