i'm developing a smokey tone amp (if you search it on google image you will see the circuit)and i'm using an LM386n that is an low power amplifier with 20 mA current,is there any way to amplify the current from 20 mA to 80/100 mA ?
jack, thanks for the schematics, i have done it and it works fine. but the difference i used was a lm386, ordinary female jack, 1k pot and a switch... you rock!
hello! The 220 uF capacitor is how many volts? And the film capacitor is made of polyester? As I rode this one for me, he even gives sound, but the noise is too high.
Hi! All of the amps like this i've seen on you tube, so far yours is the best. I think Im going to make two of these. Is there anything i sould be aware of while making it? Also I will try to make it with jack-in for headphones, I hope it will work. Is your 0.5watt speaker 8 ohms or 4 ohms? I like how it sounds very much! Good luck
I made one. I've tried few different speakers, but the one I've found in an old computer (0,5watt 8 ohms) sounded the best. Also, i will put resistor on a headphone jack in because it is WAY too loud. And i've put one more switch-button so it is possible to select the sound comming only from the speaker, or headphones or both. It actually sounds good even with an almost empty battery and with a new battery works over 20 hours.
Pls find +9 Volt power supply and earth line. Fix resistor of 4.7kΩ and LED between +9V and earth line. Pls pay attention about the direction of the LED.
are you form japan or something nice mini amp i don't feel like going through the trouble of making one though even though i know a lot of about circuitry & soldering just too lazy... i just put headphones on at night but thats just preference
I said Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Yayyyyyyyy Yayyy. I said Hey, what's going on. How'd u do that? It doesn't even sound that cheezy, sounds better than the piece of shit amp I got. And mine's like 15 or 20 watts or something. It's a Tech 21.........don't buy one because they're shit.
i am also very intrested in making something similar but not for a guitar but for an ipod speaker could you please supply more detailed pics or schematics on how it was made please it would be a great help !
oye si es casero me puedes pasar el circuito y la lista de componentes xfa te lo agradeceria mucho y saludos desde MEXICO

If you want to hook up LED.
Pls find +9 Volt power supply and earth line. Fix resistor of 4.7kΩ and LED between +9V and earth line. Pls pay attention about the direction of the LED.
