I have to wonder, all the monkey lovers say their so smart, but why do you have to diaper them? You can housebreak almost any other animal, why can't you train them to at least a litter box?
@junkintrunk55 Caps urine spray wash to naturally mark their scent in the jungle - so they have a constant little dribble. therefore its more sanitary to wear a diaper!
I watched a show last week about a woman buying a Capuchin. The breeder made a joke out of how the mother would throw the baby at her because after 19 years she knew she was coming to "pull" the baby. The lady got $5500.00 for the 5 day old baby, pulled at 1 day old. Why is this ok, but it's so bad when the labs don't wait a year to pull the babies? I hate both sides of the people doing this, to me it's just like a puppy mill. Why make any animal suffer so we don't feel lonely?
I have a little macaque that made my desk her home. She is interested by this thing I type on and what I do. She is recovering from a complete spinal separation she got in a fall, and decided she wanted to live up here. I made her a nest, but she comes out and rest by either me or the warm computer.
I have her litter box on the desk, but I still have to clean her, she can't twist all the way around yet.

@killing1111 I do have 3 dogs, 2 cats, 3 horses, and 7 llamas. so what is your problem with a monkey? he isn't at your house.

I prefer to, as i feel it is cleaner process with all his hair. diaper wipes are hard on his bottom
