You don't need to know, he's using delay and reverb, his amp is clean.

This is a beautiful effect, but it probably has limited application in jazz and fusion because those styles are usually in flat keys.

Thanks, Peter! Your videos on cross stringing scales were an epiphany for me. I'd always wondered how players achieved that particular "cascading" sound. Nothing left to do now but practice, practice, practice!
