  • Have u got any tips to improve my upper body strength?

    thankyou. :D

    btw amazing vid, very relaxed.

  • @KyleBallingerPK Well the upper body is a fairly vague thing. Are you trying to push better? Pull better? And in what position? Get back to me and I'll tell ya

  • @AfroPK Well more push, im trying to get better with my handstands but not just holding handstands, like handstand pushups and shizz but i think to do that my upper body strength needs to improve.

so push better i guess, :D cheers!

  • @KyleBallingerPK Well the best way to get better handstand pushups is to do a lot of handstand push ups. So several times a day (aim for 8 times) do a few HSPUs. Don't practice them to failure, just do a comfortable number. (NOTE: This works with all sorts of strength feats, ie One arm chin ups, push ups, front levers, etc).

Also, try levers/presses into handstands with bent arms and straight arms.

Essentially, to get stronger do a lot more handstands/hspu

  • @AfroPK Ok dude, thanks lots for your help. :D

  • @KyleBallingerPK Glad I could help

  • hey nice handstands im trying to do that too.

please thumbs up my 1 month beginner parkour video!

  • very very nice man !!!!!! wow!

  • wonderful wonderful compilation video

    five stars

  • Hey! Nice vid, very impressive! I just uploaded my first handstand video but its nothing close to this! Can't wait till my handstands get to this level.. by the way, are there any tutorials for 1:31 ?

  • There are a whole bunch of tutorials for those, they are called straddle presses and one step in the progression towards full straddle presses :)

  • nice!

  • how long did it take u to make them so controlled

  • how can u controll them so well

  • You can practice handstands and handstand pushups.

  • 2:18 - 2:50 woa man. I can only do one of those. You did 4 in a row. Respect

  • Yeah....That was my second time trying them in a row so im not sure how you could train them (if you were interested) :/ But thank you nonetheless!

  • skills

  • Ivvi, you are ridiculous. Was good training with you today, mate.

  • @Zcqead I agree mate! And the video is just about ready! Just gotta renda it, was thinkin in 720 by 360. What say you?

  • Really nice job man! Tremendous progression.

  • verrrrryyyyy niceeeeeeee! :) You also give thinks to try:P

  • wow!

  • Very nice! I really like all the dynamic handstand work.

  • @DrAlexisOlson Hey! Ive watched your videos and i love your tumbling, especially your front passes! And thank you for your comment, do you have any other variations i should try out?

  • You could try some more press handstand variations. I just uploaded a video of me and my teammates doing some crazy strength stuff. There might be some stuff in it you might be interested in learning.

  • this second one handed handstand was quite nice. just do some sidesplit training and you will make some good progress. and i like your very slow rock ups :-)

  • @Maseconditioning The second one was cuz of the elbow bend. Someone on gymnastic bodies mentioned it but i didnt really try it out. Happy i did! And yeah, my straddle needs a lot of work! I think ill start working on that. How should i go about it?

  • Funny how your dad is just like, "Whatever." in the background haha.

Nice job, looking really good. You can become the next junior if you keep it up! :D

  • @alcaknight Yeah, my family no longer notices when im doing handstand stuff just because i do it so often :)

And thank you, maybe ill get to avoid the hip problems though, you know?

  • Haha, I used to do handstands so much that my parents were just like, whatever, too. Ahh, I miss those days. Now it's just lifting. :D

  • @alcaknight If you miss them then start training them again :P And what lifts do you do?

  • Haha, I'm a bodybuilder, ish, so I go to the gym around 3-4 times a week. I actually just went outside today and ran around town in the snow. Parkour is theee shizz. Glad I am starting up again. :D

  • @alcaknight Nice to have you back! And how big are you now? Does it help you out or not so much?

  • I've gained around 35-40 pounds since I've started. Started at 130ish and now am 170ish. 5'8".

I'm not sure if it helps yet, but I haven't ran in a LONG time, so yesterday was just like. Bam. Haha, but I don't think it has hindered me any.

  • I've been waiting for this video, your handstand progression looks really similiar to mine. Awesome handstand drops there!

  • sick sick sick alot of improvement no doubt, really nice control
