  • great video mate, love your style of fishing and out look on the sport, very english style!! awesome looking fish too and more great underwater footage,

  • @MrCarpking71 Thanks bud...you keep enjoying em and I'll keep making em! Roll on the warmer months already! We are looking at wind chills to -6 F tomorrow..I don't even wanna think what that is C....

  • That's a great barrel. Wow you had fresh tea & honey? Next time I'll have to climb down that side of the River to say hi. After our walk ion the field,, when we drove by ,, I knew that had to be you! Looks like you had a wonderful day. I like the Army jacket!! Hooah!! One of these days we'll meet! Have a good night ;)

  • @NaturesFairy Thanks! Yeah I need it because I bring waaay too much stuff to the banks with me, like tea and honey ha! I'm sure we will meet, seems we are both always around just different times. Till then take care of yourself.

    Hooah! Indeed!

  • Nice barrow mate, there such a handy bit of kit. Think my back would of gone by now without mine lol. Great video and get well soon

  • Enjoyed the vid. Thanks for the review. How much did it cost to ship from blighty?

  • @rehamkram To be honest not as much as I would have thought. This one was cheaper shipping I guess because it was light and compact as opposed to a non fold-able one..ran roughly 26 dollars. I've seen some shipping upwards of 80 dollars :(

  • i really want to fish here it looks a perfect place to loose yourself ...great video !

  • @sleepyfisherman10 If you ever find yourself heading to Massachusetts I'd be honored to take ya to a few local spots bud.

  • Top blogging mate usefull info on the barrow and some nice fish to looked bloody cold though roll on spring.

  • @particlepete1 Thanks..it was a bit chilled, got nice in the afternoon though. I put a thermometer in the water and the thing refused to tell me the temp unless I wrapped it in a warm blanket!

  • always great to watch, hope to see more soon matey

  • @DSAchilles Hopefully, weather took a turn for the colder and icier so we will see what kind of footage we can get.

  • Nice one! i have the Carp Porter MK2 barrow and its exactly like your one, they are awesome!no point in struggling, got to make everythung as easy as possible :)

  • @CarefulCarping Yeah the Porter MK2 was another name that came up when I was looking at which one to put my money into ;). It is crazy nice, able to bring more comfort stuff and it is now less work..can't beat that!

  • maybe if you strap a chain saw to the front of your barrow you could get past that tree?

nice video though, always enjoyable to watch!

  • @EverydayAngler Chainsaw or a team of Oxen..would not only be able to move the trees out of the way but would make my barrow "powered"...

  • Great song awesome camerawork and editing :)

  • @twentypluscarper Thanks. I looove how the bait spoon with the camera came out. I kinda thought I might throw my camera and not get it back but glad I did.

  • And the other big plus with a barrow is........you dont have to make your tea on the ground! They make a perfect camp kitchen!!!

  • @kingfisher4522 I know right! Lucky for me I have like 3 grills..so I can start taking my rectangle double burner one again now! Have to dig it out of the basement. Maybe now I can start eating a bit better on the banks again so Margot won't have to worry bout my diet ;)

  • what did u put in your tea??

  • @MrMoonsox Honey! It is a spreadable natural honey so it is chunky not all gooey.

  • do you have any good cold water baits or flavors you prefer im looking to get out more this winter but dont have much expierence just looking for something to try. thanks

  • @MrMatt5252 Mistral Baits Flouro pop-ups have been banging for me this winter right now they are my go to bait. I roll my own with their Day Glo Yellow base mix, scopex and pineapple have both worked well. Maple peas, sweet corn and of course any soft paste/doughs have worked well in the past also. Also can't beat a good natural, night crawler ( lob worm depending on your country ) or maggots are always good choices, though not as selective.
