He is a great singer, however as someone who comes from the African American Community, I would say he's amazing but not the best. An outstanding performance and a talent to watch for a long time to come I hope, but he's got his work cut out to take on Dionne Warwick's anthem that Luther made totally his own and brought such a wealth of emotion to.

However, it's almost unfortunate, because this is not the music (voice) that is marketable, it's not the "pop" that we are all forced to catergorize as "music".
