I recommend ppl use Adblocker for Firefox. Won't stop them scanning your mail (I dunno why anyone is completely comfortable with this) but it will block ads very well on youtube and gmail.

Google does the same but also offers relevant ads. That's the only thing that is different and Microsoft is all sissy about it because they did not come up with the idea first (and hence couldn't dominate the web market). If it was not for Google, we would be using 10 MB free email accounts

Hey guys at Microsoft, here's another revelation you can tout in your next supersmart ad (via Google's YouTube, hahaha). If you believe it or not, Google even "reads" what I'm SEARCHING. Can you really believe that they dare to do that? It's called targeted advertising, and everybody knows about. And you guys know what -- NO ONE CARES, some even LIKE it. As some other consumers have said here, go and imporve your Hotmail etc. products instead of throwing dirt at others.

If you're really worried about hosts reading your email, you could set up your own mail server on your own computer. The sort of old computer that gets left on a sidewalk corner has more than enough power to run Linux and sendmail or Postfix and Squirrelmail.

The only thing it was good for was updating, not that the updates made any difference, but the update function worked - it updated and updated and then restarted and updated and then updated the updates and restarted again.
Microsoft cheated users big time there. No need to go on Windows or buy bloated MS products ever again.

@Mehedict Internet Explorer 9 is a poor attempt to use hardware acceleration to hide MS' poor programming. That is, if you are a really sloppy programmer, your programs will feel slow for the user, so MS' idea is; it doesn't matter, if the GPU is so fast, noone will notice... well, except for when you look at your electrical bill of course. Fast and efficient programming doesn't need hardware acceleration at all, and it will be cheaper.
