No entiendo por qué traduces "What if?" como "Que tal si?" en vez de "Y si?"

La traducción "Qué tal si?" tiene como respuesta una condición de aceptación o negación: "BIEN" "MAL" "Ok" "DE ACUERDO"

La traducción "Y si?" implica una condición contraria a la establecida.

No es lo mismo "¿Y si no llegamos?" que "¿Que tal si no llegamos?".

1) ¿y si no llegamos? Nos lo perderemos.

2) ¿Qué tal si no llegamos? De acuerdo, vamos a quedarnos.

Otra traducción podría ser "Qué pasaría si?"
