my grandfather was in Amsterdam for a short while. apparently he was part of a military troop that was moving in as the Nazis were leaving in WWII. he used to speak of the courage of the people there. according to my grandfather, the people of this city risked a lot to protect and hide young girls from being violated by the Nazi troops. sometimes he'd even shed a tear over it. "Amsterdam", he'd say, "people of great courage." thx for the tour in the vid. 5 stars and favored for it. peace :)
