2009 Burton Custom Snowboard Bindings

Do snowboard boots have to align to the high-back of your bindings. Or does your entire boot have to stand flat on the baseplate?

@- Boot should be flat to base plate and lineup nicely to the high back.

@sociaphobiax - Yes, but you may want a wide board if your boot size warrants you using a large binding.

they definitely look nice. But how they perform is a completely different story.

Hint: in general, the less cushioning a binding has the more responsive it will be. If it has a lot of cushioning, it's a lot easier to absorb your landings.

now this biding is the shit! probably one of the coolest looking bindings on the market. the o9 is way better than the 2010 model. if ya like skulls n stuff.

@ukraine49 if you can get 09 custom bindings, get them. their awesome. i love mine, best binding ever for the money. i picked up a pair at dicks sporting goods for 80 bucks, but i just got lucky, it was the last pair.

@ukraine49 ive never tried mission so i dont know. but all i know is that customs arent durable and they snap on the smallest jumps.

you prolly got a defected one. you could return them for new ones if they were under a year. i don't know how you snapped a binding?! i've had a pair of customs for 4 years and never had a problem with em besides a stripped strap. not to mention i weigh 170 lbs and hit 50 footers thousands of times. i feel they take a beating but always hold up for me.

@optical76 well it was my third time on the mountain of that season. i had been sessioning this tiny 10 foot kicker and they were snapped when i got to the bottom of the run. i had them under 2 months. i cant remember if we got the warranty but i think my mom has the receipt.

I've been buying customs forever. When they get too fucked up, I buy a new pair. Best bang for the buck. 350$ bindings are a scam !
