The book of Revelation is actually easy to understand. "Mystery Babylon" is actually no mystery. It is (was) the Roman Empire. Rome was destroyed and replaced by the rise of the Christian Church, all fullfilled back then. If anything we are in the time when Satan is released again, but only for a time then the return of Christ.
That's the Preterist View of Revelation. Just read the first sentence "..God gave him to show his servants what MUST SOON take place"
