I've been using an airbrush on my cakes for @ 10 years as well.
One thing I would say though, about PSI. It's not so much how big a project is (except maybe if you are doing an overall color on a full sheet cake) it's more about on what you are ABing. BC n Fondant you can get away with the higher PSI but if you're using something liked whipped non-dairy icing 10 PSI is about as high as you can go without blowing holes in your icing.
is that small compressor similar as to what we used for our aquariums?
