Ää ok, thanks for this Rieview, on most sites stand it have 560 fps(170m/s) but you have say that thas is false XD. A Airsoftgun whit 2J had 442 fps( 135m/s). Low Power!!

@DariansKanal In Canada we have an under 500 fps limit without having to acquire a license so our version has a lower fps then other countries.

@9Cob You want a scope designed for a spring piston styled airgun or it will get damaged by the spring vibration. Do not us round BB's in this air rifle, use .177 caliber lead pellets. I recommend a medium power scope for this air rifle.

@9Cob I only have a few springer airguns and most of them came with scopes. Center Point is one that seems common on air rifles, this is just not my area of expertise.

I bought one when they first came out because everybody was all excited about it. Maybe it's because I am not a big fan of springers but overall I don't like the gun and think your money could be spent on much better guns for the money

@rickchardet01 With a good shooter it and a scope it could be accurate out to perhaps 100 yards.

Ingenious design in my opinion. The only thing that would make it better would be if the spring-lever was not pulled backwards and out, but simply straight back. Of course that would be much more complex, but I ain't no gunsmith.

you have to know how to shoot a spring-airrifle to properly shoot this rifle , use the artillery stance and allow the rifle to fibrate , and hold it exexly the same everytime ,You all can try this whit your own spring-airrifle , shoot 2 shots one holding it lightly and one holding it tight you will notice a big diverance . Spring-arrifles shoots the best whit the artillery stance allowing it to vibrate EXPECIALY THE IZH 61

i almost porchesed thet gun i had kruzing 3 stors luking for skope to put in, et this moment i have izh-mp 512m with walther skop, but i well try to change it for gamo or izh61 or 60 if there well be some skop to fid in, i'w purchest izh-mp 512m in 5.5mm, but never shot it and well trye to change becose i dydn't like the wayght balase of it and 5,5 pellets cam 250 pellets insted of 500 4.5mm pellets its expensive to me to shot 5.5!

@switchingtomac You see it like this because the english writing for the russian sound [ j ] (ж) is "zh", just like in PPSh the "Sh" at the end is "ш" (it's read [sh]), so it would be "Pi Pi Sha". And I think IZH is actually meant to be read as [eej]. But you can call it anyway you like, I don't even know why I spent my time writing this :P

I've read the single shot version is more accurate than the 5 shot model. Anything to that? Also that different "clips" shoot differently out of the 61.

wow I got this gun for free from a friend here in Hawaii.mine came with s/s metal clips thoug,thanks for the adjust trick on the stock! & the FPS I never knew those info..I installed a red lazer on it & zeroed it in..at 40-45 feet I can peg off on paint ball as targets, at will..I cant seem to find a good red dot scope that will mount on it..I keep using the crappy daisy ones that goes off accuracy after 400 rounds or so.This gun is pretty accurate for my use,so no complaints here.

A few years ago I had one of these Russian made air rifles. For under 100 Euros they are cheap but the quality is actually good and they shoot accurately. But you can very easily chamber two pellets when you don't pay attention on the MP-61 model. Happend to me. Was very difficult to remove the stuck pellets from the barrel. Be careful. :)

we have them in store too. Didn't really ever think much about it.. but I may take it off the rack for a quick test.

@TheHiddenPart I went from my Canon T21 mic on the camera that was set on the target to my Drift camera mic when I was 30 feet back, The Canon has the nicer sounding mic but I was too far away to use it.

I got the same! Only I have a Red-dot mounted on it. You should tell the viewers that this pellet rifle is legal in most of the country's where Replica guns are illegal.
