  • what part of Az is this video made? You have some good quality vids btw. Thank you.

  • 04:46 lmao....that scared the shit out of me, almost fell of a chair xD

  • I couldnt find any yucca plants around here, or any cordage sources for that matter ( i got a little frustrated) but i found that sword fern stems work decent as cordage. I havent seen that in any manual or video, i just found it by chance which is cool.

  • nice

  • I just made some cordage for the first time a couple days ago using a yucca leaf. It was surprisingly fun.

  • Discoid blade, huh? Sounds like two politicians knocking their heads together.

  • Hahahaha!

  • haven't been online for a while, missed your reply. I know survival is serious stuff. I have been honning skills since I was 10 or younger from cub scouts through boy scouts. My first Tom Brown book is falling apart completly. I'm 31 now, I'm just stoaked to find that there are so many like minded survivalist out there. Sotol has come into it's own as a spirit, buy the way I hope you know that I was just kidding.

  • @desertsurvivalist this is what the ancient olmec used for rope to pull there giant stone heads,u big scary man

  • I'm thinking of leaving society, does anybody know how to make tequila or sotol?

  • tequila is made from the Agave plant and is a pretty long drawn out process. Sotol is a type of yucca, not really something that can be made but things made out of it. Cord, soap, hand and bow drill spindles and boards. You can also make fire with the fire plow using sotol but I have only achieved this once. Before you leave society do your research! Think of the movie into the wild. That is a real possibility. Living in the wilderness is serious, you may only get one go at it.

  • luccagilla, or dagger plant right?

  • My man, Sgt. Slaughter!
