What kind of salsa is this? If I would lead only doubble spins and triple spins none of the girls would dance with me. It is boring. This is not the way salsa goes.
You do realise that this is one move, taught as a turn pattern, at a Congress, right?
This is not an example of the only thing that they believe you should do while dancing. They teach a turn pattern - the individual dancer either takes that whole move with them to the dance floor and integrates it into their dance with someone, or they take parts of it and blend it with other things they learn to make their own moves...
AND, there's nothing wrong with a couple of doubles and triples here and there, so long as you balance it out. Some girls LIKE spinning!
Salsa is an organic dance! People make it what they want. Someone may watch you & ask same thing "What is that guy doing, that's not Salsa"
If you watch "WORKSHOP" videos, remember that they are designed for a purpose - not only perhaps teach people a new move or combination of moves - but to also help people understand HOW certain things are lead & followed.

I believe On1 actually.. if it looks like timings out, it's the audio / video delay... but he's stepping forward On1 in his basic. :-)
