I read that their were two films being made, one with Shannon and the other with orourke as the main role. When are these films out? Been waiting years now!!
I read somewhere that Benicio Del Toro is no longer a part of this movie. He was cast to play Roy DeMeo but now that role is being played by Ray Liotta. Too bad. Benicio would have been great as DeMeo.....he is great at anything he does. I understand that it was Benicio who left the cast. Does anyone know why he opted out of the movie. I was very disappointed. When I heard he was going to be in the movie, bought the book & read it. Now that he's not in it I don't care if I see it or not.

@ADZ23774 If you're talking about the 2 related films, then what I'm sayin' is that one has to be made first before the other one and get good critic reviews. They can release the movies at the same time, but maybe it's gonna be heavy controversy which no one wants. If one of them comes out first and they got panned by critics then the 2nd one has a better chance.

I'm reading the book just now, and it's pretty shocking stuff. He lived his entire life surrounded by brutality. He may have killed many on contract, but he killed dozens of innocent people just for fun. He was one cold hearted son of a bitch. Hopefully the movie will do his story, and the book justice.
Michael Shannon should really do a period film, from the late 19th to early 20th century. that mustache is absolutely perfect, he looks like he just popped out of the 1893 world fair or something.

Im reading the "Carlo" book right now I know this is based off another book about Kuklinski but if they go by what Kuklinski says this movie will have a higher death toll then any horror movie ever made im only half way through the book and he must have already killed 5o people

The guy that threaten to hurt his family was a guy Richard called "Gorgie Boy" He shot him in a vehicle... not down at the lake feeding damn ducks. He didn't say he'd rather be known as a "Nice Man" until after he was in prison. I don't like this.. sorry. If you haven't read the book, you should. If it is going to be based on real events.. Then make them REAL events.

@ADZ23774 If you're talking about the 2 related films, then what I'm sayin' is that one has to be made first before the other one and get good critic reviews. They can release the movies at the same time, but maybe it's gonna be heavy controversy which no one wants. If one of them comes out first and they got panned by critics then the 2nd one has a better chance.

@ADZ23774 Oh yeah. DelToro's not portraying Demeo anymore. Ray Liotta (Goodfellas), replaced DelToro a month ago. Look it up at IMDB. Liotta looks more like Demeo than DelToro does anyway and Liotta need to be in the big screen again.

I hope he returns, ending that lawsuit.) He'll be gettin' another Oscar before 2015. Until Liotta gets nominated for an Oscar at least, he need all the good roles he can get.

I'm reading the book just now, and it's pretty shocking stuff. He lived his entire life surrounded by brutality. He may have killed many on contract, but he killed dozens of innocent people just for fun. He was one cold hearted son of a bitch. Hopefully the movie will do his story, and the book justice.

i hope the movie is like the book,a very good read the guy was sadistic to say the least.he killed over 200 hundred people some of them died in the most horrible & painful ways,some of them deserved to have a hard death for what they did though.

@brotherhood984 theres 2 books,the Phillip Carlo version which i thought Carlo jus spent most of his time up Kuklinskis ass,and an earlier one by a geezer called Anthony Bruno,thats the better one,actually,it might not be anthony,but its definately Bruno his surname.It tells the story more from the coppers side,Dom Provenzano.
