  • what a composition, what a singer and what picturization. so , so beautiful. Koi Hum dum, na raha...

  • 8 dislikes?

what the hell is wrong with those 8 people?

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR "ABHAS KUMAR GANGULY"

    WE MISS U A LOT :(

  • my friend lif song

  • indian film business is oriented towards market pressures but talented singers like M Rafi were never neglected by most of the musicians , like Laxmikant Pyarelal , Madan Mohan, R D Burman who gave him very good songs even when every producer was asking for Kishor Kumaar

  • @51rajiv RD Burman hated, and so destroyed Md Rafi... He forced even SD Burman to ignore Rafi. Rafi was dejected by the way RD Burman and his likes treated him

  • I've listened to kishore a lot... in my final analysis kishore definitely tops ... perhaps the world's greatest singer.

  • One of my fav songs

  • Mujhe ye dekhkar achchha laga ki Pakistani logon ko bhi KISHORE KUMAR pasand hain.

Oh yes the bluddy cracked guy, his name is anestheziologist, i read his comments. what he is wroted that RAFI is great playback singer.

pls go some1 & tell him the idiot that KISHORE KUMAR is 1 & only GREATEST PLAYBACK SINGER on UNIVERSE & also tell him that MO. RAFI is 1 & only GREAT CLASSICAL SINGER of UNIVERS.

No Other singer is in there compare.

  • Old is gold Kashor Kumar is the most papular singer.

    Arshid Qamar from Faisalabad Pakistan

  • black and white location is really good

  • exactly

  • true a genius

  • anestherziologist 1 has lost his mind...

  • @anestheziologist fuck off u cunt, Kishore is not comparable singer with other singer in Bollywood.

  • @anestheziologist I am sure you are saying that becoz kumar sanu is your cousin or something. In fact, Kishore da does sounds like Kumar Sanu. But only when he has a sore throat.

Its ok if you like sanu. Pasand apni apni. I know some people who like vada pav more than hyderabadi dum biryani. Hehe...

And comparing Rafi and Kishore is like comparing apples and oranges.

  • @anestheziologist Well Mr. Paki nobody asked your suggestion so fuck off from here.... looks like thats what ur allah teaches u to impose ur shit on others .... we know who is great and who is not... I dont know why ppl. like u are still in this country go to hell bloody terrorist... allah ka bulla

  • @kalkibhagwan hey Mr. "indian" lets not bring religion into every conversation please? You are only spreading hate. Talk about music here man, not your religious agenda.

  • The pure beauty of the heart put into words, a voice and a tune that can only be called heavenly. This is Kishore Kumar and one of my favorite songs.

  • kishor kumar the gr8 legend, singer lyrics writer composer actor producer director was never recognized & given that place he really deserved & labelled as a comedian. but during 70s his fame eclipsed rafi sahib to some xtent. his vast talents r being revered very high now. he is the most favorit of todays generation. the gr8 kishore da is no more with us but his songs & his repertoire will always b remembered 2 echoe in the souls & minds of billions. let his soul rest in eternal peace.

  • nice

  • kishore da songs comes from his soul

  • good videos

  • Whole paragraph missing- Ae Nazaron....

  • can't imagine my life without kishore's song ,

  • the five members will be off the new generation who loves only fast music and rap, rock and like wise. they are not deaf but they are ignorant of the old age classics. iam too of new generation but i have a sense of loving music. don't blame then blame the generation

  • One of the best songs of Kishore 'da! Beautifully rendered...so as to touch every string of your heart. BTW, as an Indian I feel so fortunate, lucky and proud to have such gems like Manna Dey saab, Rafi saab, Mukesh ji, Kishore 'da to have been born in this gr8 nation of ours. Also, thanx a lot for uploading this melodious number! Haardik shubhkaamnaayein.

  • Nice Song

  • The speciality of this song is ...Kishore Kumar is the Singer, Actor, Lyricist, Music Composer, and Producer of the film Jhumroo (1961). Madhubala and her sister Chanchal (later married to a Pakistani and left India) both are featured in this film.

  • Shaam tanhai ki hai......shabd jo dil ko choo jaata hai !!!

  • Who are these five people who did not like this song? Seriously, are they all deaf? Or, are they some inanimate objects?

    Or WHAT?????????????????

  • Kishore Kumar was a genius , He was a singer / actor / writer / director and he can not be compared with any other singers. Apart from that he did not take any formal training. He was clearly a God sent person who just came to this earth to give us a way to reach God and you can reach to God easily by listening to Kishore Da's songs like Koi humdum na raha or Aaa chal ke tuzhe main le ke chaloon.

  • @MrBond709 ,

so true .kishore is a GOD sent genius. can't compare genius with talented singers like rafi, mukesh, hemanta kumar, mannadey.

  • @MrBond709 I am completely agree with your words.....

  • @MrBond709 u r nott ri8 dear sir kishore iz not a good singer even he didnt knew saray gama pa dha etc and i wana bring in ur notice that rafi used to ask that kishore iz kid infront of him.rafi sung more songs then kishore and the only way tfor reaching god is islam thats it

  • @nawabzadakalam - mr nawab you are saying my words in different style.. I already said that Kishore Da did not take any formal music training yet He is no. 1 singer till today.. there was a time ( between 1971-1977) when Rafi sahab used to beg for a song because no one was giving him any song to sing that is why Rafi sahab got hear attack and died. as far as reaching to God by islam is as wrong as saying you can reach to Ram by worshiping Ravan.

  • @nawabzadakalam do u know sa re ga ma?...music sargam se nai dil se bante hain, issliye music ko art bolte hai but jisse har cheez mei jung dikhe usse aman aur shanti ki samajh expect karna hee bekaar hai...karte rahiye debate...bhagwan koi kathputli nai ki islam ya hindutva ko follow karke haasil kar sakte hain...

  • This masterpiece created by the versatile KK is a testimony to KK's super class both as a singer and a music director. Don't understand, why KK did not do many as a music director; perhaps the answer lies in his complex character. Let's not get involved in a perennial argument as to who was better than who; lets be respectful to both KK and Rafi Sahab, both were unique in their own styles of singing; an argument will simply undermine the spirit of music and a true lover of music shouldn't do it

  • The forlornness on Kishore's face and the plain pain in Madhubala's face could melt even a monster's heart. Where do we mortals stand?! I cry shamelessly each time I listen to this. And, I am a Tamil who doesn't understand a word of it. Overall, Rafi may or may not be a better singer but this one song defines what music is. This one song makes Kishore a better singer. Not just Hindi but in all Indian languages including Tamil.

I wish I had met Kishore once. JUST ONCE. So come, let's cry

  • yaar,,,kyaa gaana hai....!!!!!!awesome.......sad song is the wseetest song!!!!.....saddness is the real knowledge of happiness...!!!

  • Can you believe this song was composed by Kishore Kumar himself. Simply a Legend!

  • @prasunsingh What??? you mean words or music???

The sweetest musical score in Hindi or any Indian Language, I should say

  • @originalpauper I meant the music, but for this movie (Jhumroo 1961) Kishore Kumar wrote the lyrics for its title song, main hoon jhumroo, and composed music for all the songs in the movie.

  • Simply superb. Kishore Kumar was amazing

  • its' so relaxing to watch a video so old....with so few humans around............peace all around...

  • a SONG FOR THE LONELY HEARTS

  • 5 yrs before i was born................

  • nice song

  • This is one of the best Kishore Kumar songs, sung with so much feeling it is unbelievable.

  • The legendary Ashok kumar's first film was Bombay talkies's Jeevan Nayya opp Devikarani in 1934. Composer was Saraswatidevi but Dadamuni sang the song in his own tune and that was the same song with same mukhda. Kishorda was hardly 6 years then but he remembered the song well, In his first film as composer he sang this song with Dadamuni's help and it created history.

  • @SuperVasant Thanks for this gem

  • when someone lieaves you by death, then no one remains and no one can replace that soul and love. its very true. sam.usa

  • is this what this song means ?

  • It is 14 mantra... I remember Ashok Kumar mentioning this in one of the interviews.

  • Koi Humdum Na Raha Koi Sahara Na Raha

Ham Kisi Ke Na Rahe Koi Hamara Na Raha

  • awsome yaar

  • way coooool, man, try mixing finnish death metal with this song and video

  • He used to listen songs from his mother.. It cannot be called a "training" or "taalim" at all.. He used to listen songs played on radio by Saigal, S D Burman et al and used to hum in leisure hours.. That is how he had learnt music..

  • just see his hold on the lowest octave..the sustainence in coverage of threenotes in the lowest octave with clarity..who can say this man never had any musical training.. This skill is not there even in highly trained singers also..

  • he learnt well from his Mother. his era was the 1970s and he had learnt well by then.

  • Thats completely false - he did not learn music from anyone!

  • he learnt from his mother.

  • well said bro.. i think thats precisely the difference between a born genius and the rest !

  • this song is not kishore da's composition,

but when he asked Ashoke kumar that he wanted to sing this song he was told it was in 14 matra he wont be able to sing it but the little kishore da says that one day he will sing this song and will sing it better then anyone it was the truth it was a hit song after he sng it and still is.

  • Thanks for this info..

  • Buddy, I think it is 13 matra.. I tried on keyboard, it hits "pa" on the lowest octave as the lowest and "ga" on the third octave the highest.. Has to be 13 matra.. anyways, who cares.. What a song!!

  • Genius singing, his composition is just too good.

  • i find this song very haunting...

  • immortal kishore saab..

  • Beautiful!!

  • Mind Blowing...Probably Kishore san g for me...

  • No one is like Kishore Kumar

  • excellent .same for dukhi man mere from funtoosh and jin raaton ki bhor nahin hai and koi lauta de mere beete hue din from door gagan ki chaaon mein and panthi hoon mai us path ka and khushi do ghari kee from door ka raahi . all matchless unique evergreen compositions . can listen endlessly

sachi is song ko sune bina mai nai rah skta..

    i luv vry much..

n kishore da sach a u r my god my everything..

  • rocking songs touce my souls

  • KK had a most complex character. Behind his often buffoonish exterior( which was always an act in his real life too), he carried much wisdom culled from daily life experiences and observations. When he wanted to , he could move hearts by bringing all the depth of that wisdom to bear upon his singing, as he does here. The sadness here denotes wisdom in that it captures the fragility of all human relations including those in his own life . A lovely post. Thanks,lethal1985.

  • Good comment

  • Very lovely sad song by Kishor kumar. 'Hum kisee kay na rahe koi hamara na raha' kuchh apna hee haal lagta hai. Thanks. Nash from UK

  • Can you people imagine what a love Kishoreda Had for Madhubala? And i can't believe Madhubala died just after one month they got married!!! OMG.....we say: That's life. Kishoreda we never ever forget you...neither we forget Madhubala. Lethal thanx alot for giving us an opportunity to see Kishoreda walking and singing. God bless ya!

  • Kishoreda knew Madhubala had cancer and was dying. He still married her 'cause Madhubala wanted to get married before she died.

About this song: Ashok kumar had sung this song long time ago and it was so difficult for him that he warned Kishore not to attempt this song 'cause it had very high and low pitch extremes ,, Kishoreda said to hell with pitches (he is not a trained singer!),,, he sang it as a challenge to his elder brother,, the rest is history!!!

  • i agree with all the sentiments expressed. This has to be one of the best songs sung by Kishore.
