g's need to be higher, bigger cell, but other than that good job getting into music so early, i started cello at the begining of this term and now im playing the prelude to Bach's Suite 1, just goes to show where practicing can get you in 10 weeks

My mom just told me to tell your mom to get over herself. If your mom was a better cellist at the age of 5, then she may have the right to comment. But even if she were better, she should show a little compassion and restraint when it comes to commenting on other players.

She's a musician and a perfectionist. I've never played a cello, but I know that I would never have been allowed to perform in my piano recitals if I was making frequent errors. You don't get to choose the people who raise you, so what can I say? She may be pretty hardass but I love her nonetheless.

In about measure 5 With The A A A C the first 2 As are Staccato. Other Than that it was beautiful.

i had to memorize this song for school last year. ugh, i got an 81 and this kid blaise i know who also plays cello he got a 91, which is stupid cause he skipped like, 2 reapeats and i actually played the whole thing.

good.... i would like to suggest to the music community in response to seeing wonderful talent at such a young age that music teachers teach improvisation... if bach couldnt make his own songs, laura would have nothing to play... the cello is a beautiful, rich (in a musical way) instrument and laura nailed it... good job

That cello is like a extra large viola!! LOL!! It looks like a quarter size!! You barely see those in rental shops. They are fun to play though... like a viola!! :-P
