La città è magnificamente ornata di templi e di portici. Il tempio di Zeus Olimpio, seppure non sia stato ultimato, non sembra essere inferiore ad alcun tempio della Grecia per la sua progettazione e per le sue dimensioni.
The city is sumptuously adorned in other respects also with temples and colonnades. The temple of Zeus Olympius remains unfinished, but by its plan and dimensions it seems to be inferior to no temple in all of Greece.
