I've been to Athos 5 times from '92 till '99 and it was still the same,great place,last time i went there to study for my exams,i needed some peace and quiet and the monks let me stay for 2 months.
i was in Mount Atheos, its realy paradice, very nice and holly because of the people who live there just to pray for the goodness of the world. pease upon you
