not many people have this amount of respect. And NO ONE knows what its like or the feeling. The people i train with and fight with are more than just brothers, they are part of me. And watching a brother fall in the midst of battle is the worst part of it no matter what anyone says. Thats something that we have to live with forever, and taking someones life is the same way. Ever since we found out about his deployment, people have been telling me that he's not coming back, or he's going to get killed, etc... It kills me to hear that. People think it's easy living a Military life, but it's not. It's hard, painful, and stressful. If they think it's so easy, why don't they try it then tell us who are living the Military life how easy they think it is.

not many people have this amount of respect. And NO ONE knows what its like or the feeling. The people i train with and fight with are more than just brothers, they are part of me. And watching a brother fall in the midst of battle is the worst part of it no matter what anyone says. Thats something that we have to live with forever, and taking someones life is the same way. it's not the actual countries that were the threat, but the dangerous people living there. we went into afghanistan to get Osama bin Laden, to destroy the oppresive regime of the Taliban, that was also harbouring dangerous terrorists such as bin laden. it was not afghanistan itself that was a danger to our freedom, but the people using the country as a base for training and attcking other countries, and indeed their own. that is why we are there.

Actually, they just changed his deployment date to sometime within these next 2- 3 weeks... :( But, I do know that he's going to come back. And, I know all of these other servicemen are going to come back as well. I'll be praying.

I have had two deployments in support of OEF, and I will support everyone's freedom of speech with my life, say whatever you want about the military but if you disrespect us know that at the end of the day it is us, the men and women of the armed forces that give you that right. As for the people who think its all about oil tell me why we are in Afghanistan then? Because if you do some research that country does not produce oil. why do people say we are fighting for oil? i remember being very young and seeing OUR Twin Towers being attacked for no reason other than hate. I don't know how people can say that we are fighting for oil, I fight to make those beasts who attacked my innocent people pay. atrocities are committed daily by terrorists, but no one sees that. You know, my boyfriend is in the Marine Corps, and he's getting deployed in three months. Ever since we found out about his deployment, people have been telling me that he's not coming back, or he's going to get killed, etc... It kills me to hear that. People think it's easy living a Military life, but it's not. It's hard, painful, and stressful. If they think it's so easy, why don't they try it then tell us who are living the Military life how easy they think it is.
