these were the old days, when if you got into a fight, your team mates had your back, and kept the others away. everyone stood together, and because of that there were less fights, and less serious injuries.
Old time hockey had many things, more fights, more goals, better fan support, cheaper tickets, and most importantly less injuries have the people in the NHL pa gon retarded or something cause there trying to get rid of it but the more rules they add the more it takes away from the game and add injuries, look at this no helmets poor equpment less injuries, yes i will admit guys are much bigger now but stll bring back the old time rules and watch guys will have fun, and injuries will be reduced
u cant make a big fuckin hit in the NHL any more without getting called for a head shot or some pussy call like that... i was watchin TSN the other day and i guy said... and that was 2 min for cheating... what the fuck is cheating?! the guy was on a break away and the back checkin defenceman knocked him over from the side and landed on him... thats ccheating?!! this is real hockey fuckin old time hockey man!!!!!!!!!
It's sad that I have to go on youtube to see this action. Ice Hockey is the best sport in the world but the NHL is starting to lack a bit action. Kids who want to get into hockey are missing some of the best stuff. I know that it can be dangerous but this is what hockey is based on. These are the merits, the principles, the standards. Gary Bettman and the Refs need to let players do this.
