I really really want the Canon EOS 7D, too! So expensive, though! I might try to get it around boxing day, Best Buy, Henry's or one of the other stores might have it on for a better price :)

as far as a 7D; unless you're going to begin professional photography, i'd suggest just sticking with a video camera in the same price range, it'll be worth it later on... try an xl2 or something along those lines.
