hey ive got dvd dazzel. i seen on this video here it exaclty the same as the gameplay. when i record it diffrent timing to the xbox, say i shoot on the xbox it doesnt shoot on the dvd dazzel screen, anyway u can time it to be exact? thanks

If you go to the Edit Video page and put this - yt:stretch=16:9

in the TAGS box, it will stretch the video to make it widescreen

Actually, I was able to fix it... i needed to download this "Pinnacle Studio 12" from The Pirate Bay because it wouldn't capture audio... i still can't capture audio in movie maker... it doesen't really like Windows 7 lol

the thing with dazzle recorders ( i use the 106$ one with Pinnacle ) is that if you dont have a good computer with alot of hard drive space, it can be an annoyance. 5 minute videos take up about 1 gig of space, and if you dont have alot of RAM, your videos can end up lagging alot.

@meowmasterL346 yeah there is, you just have to get these certain splitters to give two displays, I dont have to do this because I record off my xbox 360, which has the green blue and red displays so I use those with the t.v, and then the yellow, red and white with the capture card. Just lookup on youtube setting up dazzle capture card and Im sure you'll find some good tutorial videos.

If you have Sony Vegas you can just pan the video in slightly until it dissapears

I had that same problem but to fix it you need to download vlc player and go to settings, number of lines being used and drag the bar for less lines on screen to be used and it won't show anymore.

If you figure out how to use Pinnacle's editing program the videos it saves are better quality. Windows Movie Maker does something to the video.

WMM doesn't render the end product (if it be just the recorded clip or an actual ready-made-youtube-video), while Pinnacle Studio does. However this rendering process can vary from setting to setting.

A video from my Wii, lasting 2 minutes and 45 seconds, took roughly 7-20 minutes to render in various settings. I must add though, i ALWAYS chose the best quality, regardless of what file type it was saved as, if it be Avi, Mpeg, etc.

The results are great though, as you can see from my video.

Flint2007: Yes you can. You just need one of those double sided color cables and a couple of Y-splitters which will allow you to have both your game's cables and cables that go into the Dazzle plugged into your TV.

Amazon distributes from different marketers so you may have been buying it from Best Buy. Plus Best Buy is not the only place you can buy it from, you use to be able to buy it from Comp USA before they went out of business, and I bet you can get it from a vast number of electronic distributors.

No matter what console I record, there always seems to be a delay in the reaction of the preview screen/what I press on the controller, and it throws me off balance when playing faster paced games. Is there a way to get rid of it, or does it not happen to you?

This happens to everyone unfortunately. This is because of the relatively slow data transfer speeds of USB 2.0, and there's nothing that anyone can do about it. :( Better suited would be to buy a PCI/AGP/PCI-e capture card, the reaction speed would improve significantly.

No you just run it through the TV using a couple of AV Y adapters, then you can play it on your TV in real time wile your PC records at a delay. thats how i do it =)

I went down to radioshack and got this exact item: Advanced Performance GoldSeries Stereo A/V Cable (It worked for TV)

It also says "for connecting: •TV•DVD player•VCR•Satellite receiver•A/V receiver

You need the Video in (yellow), audio in left (white), and audio in right (red)
