  • error index is 100% hardware!!!!! check ur needles carts and phono's. i had same problem and had to re-soulder my phonos on my 1210's, works perfect now! check out "viperfrank" on youtube for in depth tutorials on 1210 maintanence

    peace and good luck

  • Watch my video on my page (its only one) if you want a step by step set up. It works fine for me now but I did have a few problems (made some mistakes) at first.

  • hey while we're on the topic I have a torq set up and whenever I record my set I hear this hiss sound on the recorded in =( any suggestions????

  • looks like you need to turn the knobs on connectiv all the way over to the right seems like you have em both half way if ur tryna play mp3's on ur control vinyl u have to have it set all the way to the right and make sure that your setting both decks to phono

  • OLD NEEDLES MAN

  • if you confused left and right(white and red jack) RCA cables your music will be played in reverse, check your connections. regarding this video- 1) checked all the connections including your cartridge.

    2) if you find that everything connected properly try to change your stylus.

if your error index is more than 0.50 you will have a problem in absolute mode trust me i had the same thing

  • using Stanton ST80's, 120's or Numark TTX1's will make your vinals sound like vinals since torq has a problem with the phono, those turntables don't use the phono but go directly using line input.

  • Hey I just got torque and use it with my Denon 3500. My Cd reads fine and it works perfect.. the problem started when I conected the conectiv interface into a usb hub.. big no no! it even says in the user manuel not to do that. So I ended up uninstalling All conectiv related drivers.not torq. and reinstalled them.. .then I just hooked up the Conectiv straight to my labtops usb and it works perfect.. no noise and no slipping on my CD turntable.. hope this helps out anyone reading this.

  • Why is it set to Phono on the connectiv box? (I cant tell but it looks like its flipped to the phono from the video) try flipping those over to Line, its a line signal from the comp. My response is a little late, im sure you have figured out the problem or returned it by now.

  • I had the exact same problem, left deck would only work in Relative mode, and sometimes, spinning the record back would make it go forward, spinning it forward also made it go forward.

Anyways, for me, the problem stopped and it works fine now, It could be an ussue with your turntable RCAs, maybe have them checked by a repair shop.

  • well.. my problem is that it only works in relative mode, it wont drag the tune forward in absolute mode for some reason. And it sounds VERY distorted and skips forward and back always. I got a large error index and can't figure out why.

  • what are the specs on your comp? i had the min specs and torq still gave me probs. i upgraded my ram and haven't had a prob since.

  • i had xponent, sent it back, got connectiv, now i' have all sorts of probs. it just sits in my basement now. vynil use sounds like shit, like an old tape cassette left in the sun. my control cd's also play the song backwards on the right deck (and no effects are on such as reverse on my decks or torq)

  • so....what exaclty is your problem with torq, i'm confused
